Comment:

Dr. Speicher is a sweet person, but I was not a fan of her teaching at all. In my class, she only taught something once (sometimes quickly) and gave few examples--making it harder to study for exams and write papers. Daily homework was not graded, and when a student asked if she could do a problem from it out on the board, she would say no.

Dr. Speicher is the worst professor I have had at Albertus Magnus. Her teaching style is terrible. She will teach you what to do, but will only go over it once and give one example. She also gives a lot of tests and quizzes. She doesn't grade you on homework or attendance. She talks to you like you're a baby. Bad bad bad.

Dr. Speicher is fantastic!! Don't take her class if you're looking for an easy A, but you must take a class with her if you want to really learn about the subject material and are up for the challenge. She is very clear about her expectations, and is easily accessible if you have questions or need help.

at first it seems like what she is teaching is too much and lots of work for what? it was statistics class, which I was required to take. but then as class went on, she showed how to use it and learn about people. it was exciting. also, the graduate students love her.

Comment:

Very sweet woman, however she only teaches through power point and only the information that's in the book. Little time is spent on conversation and making sure the students are absorbing the info. Speaks to students as if they're in Middle School.
