Prof. Lubowsky is a very nice man but extremely boring. I had a very difficult time paying attention in class. Tests are extremly difficult for no reason, because the material is fairly easy. Most of the class either failed or withdrew....this class lowered my gpa. Only take him if you are good in math.

very difficul professor, had to drop the class because his tests were extrememly difficult, the class averag was in the 20's and 30's not one person is passing the class, he wont curve either, there are only 8 students left in the class

The best teacher i ever had. Super helpful, super through, just follow in class, dont miss class, and do your homework, its not alot. Also if you can get into a class with a lab attached to it, do it makes a world of diffrence. Absolutly love this professor

In highschool I got a D for statistics,and when I chose this subject I honestly thought I would fail.But no,I got an A+ instead.This teacher is one of the best professors NCC has to offer.He's a fun professor,helps those in need,and pretty interesting.If you happen to see his name in any math course,I suggest you take him.

I had him for pre calc, please do not take him, he does not curve and his tests are extremely difficult. He moves fast and this is the first C I've ever recieved during my time at nassau. I am an A student. Most of the people who took the class failed with F's so that should tell you something about the quality of this prof!

I chose this professor based on his comments on this website and let me just tell any one who isnt strong in math dont take him! he goes way to fast in class, its ery easy to fall behind. he drops the lowest lab and test scores. if i can do it over i wouldnt take him. hes very unclear

Difficult class, but Jack Lubowsky with his sharp wit, clarity and brilliant mind makes it as fun as it can be. Exceptionally accomodating and helpful. Apply yourself you will do well. Lazy and dont seek help you will fail. I hate math and anything involving numbers scares the living hell out of me, but I try and I succeed, its easy to get A

I looked at his comments b4 taking his class expecting a good math teacher. However, he is very disorganized, doesn't know some of the problems himself. He is a nice guy...but about 10 kids are failing and another 10 have D's..only 2 kids have A's and he will not curve. I don't recommend him at all.

This is one of the most organized math teachers i have ever encountered. Take him you will be doing your self justice. He is great and have numerous ways of explaining math. Trust me he is good even if you dont like math you will like this class. Just dont miss any classes bc once you miss 1, you can forget it because you wont understand the rest.

i looked at his ratings before taking his class. big mistake! i don't know what everyone else is talking about bc he was very unclear and all over the place. i haven't learned one thing from him. i learned way more at the math center. he's a nice person, but a bad teacher.
