I took Dr. Scruton for an honors course. He was a very hardcore teacher, and he assigned so much reading and so many papers. Sometimes it felt as if he graded more on opinion rather than quality of writing. He encouraged good discussion and has a good sense of humor. He's a hard worker and expects his students to be as well.

This is the best professor I have ever had. He is always willing to help. He is challenging, but that has made me a much better student and writer. He expects a good deal from you, but is always willing to help you meet his expectations
