Comment:
Classes are an easy A for me personally, as I just take notes on everything she says, write papers based on that, and do well on tests. Could be hard for some others. Hard to follow the lectures because she goes on tangents. Nice, but sometimes dismissive of students. Very opinionated and will turn any differing opinion around back to her own.

Had an essay question on a test about the obstetrical dilemma, I answered it well because I had taken a Biological Anthropology course. She marked me wrong with a notation that said, "What about what I taught you?" She was territorial about where the knowledge came from, not that the answer was correct. Generally though, she was great. I liked her

Pushes her students which is something that doesn't happen enough at Lyndon. I definitely came away feeling I had a strong grasp on the basics of Anthropology. Lacks some clarity when lecturing, I was never sure what was a tangent and what wasn't. I witnessed her being dismissive/short occasionally with students. Great prof compared to others @ LSC

Janet is an awesome professor. She is kind, helpful, and full of knowledge. Moreover, she is willing to discuss any subject with you and will teach you a great deal about anthropology and sociology. She can be a little random at times though, which makes her classes a bit hard to follow.

She is open to discussing every subject. Somehow finds a way to relate everything to sex, but still is able to stay on topic, and teach what she initially wanted to. Very nice and willing to work with you.
