Professor Pearce is SO sweet! Im so sad I never got to meet him since I had him for online, but his comments on my assignments were always so nice. My friends that had him for in person classes loved him! IS200 is such an easy class & I highly recommend.

Pearce is the best professor Ive had at BHC. I had ZERO homework. Wrote easy papers, and had pop quizzes. Great prof.

Dr. Pearce is by far the best instructor I have ever had. Not only is he insanely knowledgeable, but he also gives great lectures which help you learn immensely. In class debates are incredible, and the participation in his classes are incredible. 350 characters is not enough to truly describe the excellence that Dr. Pearce is, take his courses!

Dr. Pearce is the best teacher I have had in my entire life. His class has a perfect mix of humor and education, and the work for his class is actually very fun and does not feel like a drag. He is always able to relate the class to what is happening in todays world, and his lectures are always great. Take him. Seriously.

I took his class online this semester and it has been the BEST class I have taken at BHC! Prof. Pearce is very clear with instructions on readings, quizzes, and daily discussions (Daily 4 times a week.) I need to take Political Science as well and I am debating to take it next semester or saving it for my last semester! (best for last)

Pearce is highly knowledgeable about poly-sci, and is obviously passionate about what he teaches (and it shows in his lectures). Attendance is part of the grade, but he'll work with you if something comes up and you work hard in his class. Most assignments are essays, but they aren't hard. Loved his class, would totally take another with him.

This class wasn't my favorite. I didn't enjoy the lectures. Thankfully though, after maybe a month and a half, we really got into doing group projects so that took up pretty much the rest of the semester which was nice. Attendance is mandatory- you can only miss two days before being dropped a letter grade. You'll need the book for quizzes.

I would take this professor again! He did an amazing job discussing the different concepts within lecture and did more than cover the material in the book. Attendance is mandatory for his class to complete assignments. Great professor!

Pearce is an amazing teacher. His lectures help you understand the material better, and he makes them fun and interactive. He is very clear about what he wants for his papers and is always available outside of class. I highly recommend taking Pearce for any class that he teaches!

Seriously one of the most inspirational professors I've ever had. He is the reason why I am a political science major. Had him for POLS 122 as well as IS 220. Every lecture he gave in 122 inspired me. In IS 220, he always gave me great feedback on what I did right or wrong. I got A's in both of the courses I took with him. DEFINITELY recommended.

Dr. Pearce is awesome. The papers are an easy A if you pay attention in class and the quizzes are also very easy and well spread out throughout the semester. I'd take any of his classes again. Great teacher and great guy. He's available outside of class and responds to emails almost instantly.

He is one of the best professors that I have had at BHC. Expectations for the class are clearly given in the syllabus at the beginning of the semester, and throughout the class. His lectures are fun and interactive, not boring power points. He is available outside of class and helpful. I would definitely take a class with him again.

Awesome at his job. He is great for first-time online students. He was very clear about criteria and was more active than a student in discussions. The discussion questions were very thought provoking. I liked the textbook, I bought the past 1877 version just to read.

Professor Pearce is a great teacher! A lot of his views don't really align with mine but it didn't matter because he does such a good job. Funny lecturer, and rewards students who do their work. He tells you stuff you may not want to hear but need to hear. Also leaves detailed comments on each paper which show he really cares. Take his class!

Without one of the best teachers I've ever had. If you like history, I highly recommend taking this professor. He's very passionate about this class and the History itself and gives really good and helpful feedback. Participation is key but he does make it seem very interesting and fun.

Pearce is the best professor I have ever had. His lectures are very informational and entertaining/funny. He cares very much about his students. The debates in class are very fun to participate in. He explains everything in a way that is understandable and will help you whenever you need it. Highly recommend him to any student.

I have to say, Pearce was one of the best teachers I have ever had. He made the information fun to learn, and taught it the right way! Most classes I take, by the end of the semester you have about half the amount of students that the class started with, but I don't think a single student dropped is class. Even the papers we had to write were fun!
