Not a design instructor, not an instructor at all actually. Is only allowed to instruct a design class at all because he runs the program. Knows almost nothing about his subject matter, or it appears that way. easy class though, if you just take pics with nothing in focus he will love it.

One of the many reasons I changed my major! The whole VISD dept. is a joke! If you liked graphic arts in high school DO NOT go into this area, try the printing program. It a lot more fun and the teachers just seem to be a lot nicer.

Ek is a mixed bag. He's a nice person, but he's a pain for a teacher. He is anal about attendance (c'mon!), naming files, tiny details, etc. There's a point where being challenging turns into frustrating. Oh, & we don't all have a rich mommy & daddy bub!

Hes a good teacher, the only thing that is kind of annoying is he thinks you're made out of money, he wants you to buy all this expensive as hell **** within a few days, thats about the only thing.
