Spanbauer is an awesome instructor. I had him for three semesters, and I learned a LOT in his classes--probably more than I would have at a big university. His class is never boring, and he has a really good sense of humor. He's totally approachable and very understanding when you have problems or concerns. Yes, his classes are hard--so just STUDY!

spanbauer does not hate aggies... spanbauer dislikes people who think they can miss class for stupid reasons. ok so judging contests are probably acceptable but then you should be there EVERY OTHER TIME if you are going to miss two weeks out of the semester for contests. He's difficult but that is what makes him a good teacher... DUH

Yeah, Spanbauer can have an interesting class every once in awhile. yet, don't bring up another way of thinking b/c he "knows" he's always right. it's pointless to even think about arguing. and if you're in his class, heaven forbid, you have to miss it for a school sponsored activity. LIVESTOCK JUDGERS- just a warning, he hates all of us! :(
