Comment:

Easiest class I have ever taken. Reading the textbook really isn't necessary, you just need to look at the sections the discussions are about. Quizzes are all true/false and EVERY answer is true. If you simply complete the work on time, you will easily end the semester with 100%. The only thing is, he does not offer any feedback at any point.

If you want an easy A, take him. Everything is extremely easy. Test are true/false questions, which the answer is true for every question. The discussion is easy as well. You simply just need to write w/e you want to get full mark

Easy A but super boring class. No feedback throughout the whole semester and you only get graded on weekly discussion posts, 3 quizzes, and extra credit. The online class ran itself without any interjection by them which made me wonder why there's even a teacher at all. Just do the weekly discussions/quizzes and you'll easily pass.

Davis never have ANY personal feedback during the entire semester. He clearly let's the online classes run themselves. Course work was easy enough I didn't have to read the chapters just the sections discussion q's were based on. Three tests with 32 questions every single answer is True out of T/F. Easy class just apathetic professor.

At first his grading criteria wasn't clear and i was intimidated bc of the syllabus but I got use to it. The online class is an easy A. Not sure how he would be in person but seems like a nice and caring guy! He always had emails reminding us our tests or just pushing us to finish strong. Do the discussion posts and do good on the tests A+

I would recommend this instructor to anyone who needs a communication class! His online class is very easy, do your reading and discussion questions and you'll pass his class with an A. Also, he only has three tests for the whole semester and he gives you three tries and takes the highest score and he gives you four hours for a 30 question test.

Really laid back professor. Do your readings and post/reply to discussion boards and you will pass this class. He also gives out extra credit. The best thing is he gives you three attempts on your tests and takes the best score. Would highly recommend this professor!

The summer online class was super easy! Phew, and I was so worried! Would recommend this class with this professor for students taking more challenging classes and need a easy one to balance them out. Thumbs up!!!

Easy A if you read the chapters assigned. Each week you there are discussions, you write your own and then reply back to two other classmates' post. There are 4 exams I believe. This online course is very straightforward, there are no surprises. Highly recommend

Class assignments consisted of weekly posts and 3-4 True/False tests. I barely used the book, because most of the topics could be googled. Just do your six posts and match the word count and you will get your A. If needed, he offers a 6 page paper for 10 points of extra credit around finals time. Nice, easy class to take on the side.

This was my first online class that I have taken and I really liked it! Dr. Davis does a great job of laying out exactly what is expected of you. Make sure you participate in the weekly discussions and the tests were not bad. Very easy class overall. Would definitely take him as a professor again.

I took an online class from professor Davis and it's my favorite class I've ever taken. I love the way he runs his class and the tests are very, very easy. He has you respond to two discussion questions each week and then give responses to classmates' responses. I loved reading other people's responses to mine, I would take this class again any day

I have a hard time grading Dr. Davis because there was not much interaction. The online course was laid out well, and ran itself. Quizzes were easy. 2 Conversation topic posts and 4 responses (2 for each topic) were required each week. I honestly don't know if he read the conversation posts or just looked at the word count...

Easy weekly discussions. Discussions were based off of your life and experiences, so no right/wrong answer. Total of 3 quizzes through the semester, multiple choice of T/F. EASY A class, but he's not very responsive at all which is weird considering he's teaching a communications course. Emailed him 3 different times, never heard back from him.

He was awesome. The class is so easy. All you have to do are discussions and it literally takes you 10 minutes. His quizzes are set up so you can get good grades. Yo get 2 attempts at each of the 3 quizzes. So easy. I recommend this class if you need it for a pre req! Easy A

I took his online course. He lays out the criteria at the very beginning of the course, so if you like to work ahead of the week, you were able to do that and get your assignment for the future weeks partially completed ahead of time. He had very clear criteria and requirements for each weekly assignment to follow and assigned points accordingly.

Comment:

Dr. Davis was HORRIBLE at grading!! He would wait a whole month before he would grade anything so you never had any chance to adjust your work. I made a simple mistake and there was absolutely ZERO grace. His tests were a JOKE! They were from previous versions of the text, and he was always off by a chapter, so you could never really fully prepare.
