I'm taking Dr Shahverdian now, and I'm glad I am! She is patient and is willing to answer questions and clarify anything you need help with. MA301 isn't that easy for me, but she's always willing to accommodate me even if I can't make office hours. Take her!

Shahverdian is an amazing professor! Prepares you very well for future math course following MA 301. If you can take her for MA 301, DO IT! She makes sure that you have full understanding of material before moving on and also makes sure you are able to pass the course. She is available to help you outside of class and wants to help you succeed!

She was the QU 101 coordinator the year I had her. She ran the class very well- did not grade harshly. Only papers were summer reading, community event papers, and the final paper. Led discussion well, but allowed for students to really stem off on their own.

Very nice lady. Makes calculus fun. It was a difficult class, but going to her office hours and the learning center helped me alot. I highly recommend her. She is one of the best calculus teachers. She is very available to meet with students and help them succeed.

Awesome prof, very caring, young so still knows how to feel as a student, helps you a lot in class and after class, lets you drop the lowest test and two quizzes, go to class, hand in homework on exam day get an A in hmwk and on the exam, very helpful and must take this class, she is the BEST. A++++

the nicest math teacher u will ever encounter. very linient with everything. if u need help while taking a test she will practically answer the questions for you. she explains things clearly and will rarely keep u for 50 min, and usually allows extra time on tests if needed.
