Comment:

Mr. Dunlevy is a very nice man, and you can tell that he is very intelligent and has been teaching for a long time. He however is horrible at explaining things. He can not teach the material very well at all and you will feel lost. The online work is also not useful and just basically a review. He also does not ever collect HW, like EVER.

Does not use the textbook. The Math Lab plus assignments he will assign wont help you on tests. Calls people out in class multiple times. Definitely suggest another professor. Extremely boring

Where do I even start? Avoid him if you want an A and you have other classes. He has quizes every friday and randomly collects homework assignments. Pay attention in class because he will test you based off of lecture. He throws the biggest curve balls on his exams. Attend EVERY class and do ALL the homework.

Dunlevy Is a nice guy but man he can't explain anything it's like he tries to bore you to death and then make you sleep by rambling on about a topic that he can't explain and then if he has a hard time he says I quit and goes to the next topic and his tests are difficult although he knows what he's talking about he just can't convey information.

Prof. Dunlevy is not an easy professor, but if you do the massive amount of hw he assigns you WILL understand. For those who think that his tests are way too difficult, its because he really (I mean REALLY) wants you to ASK about the curveballs in math. Also if you do the hw you'll realize that he really does beat in the same concepts over and over

He knows his stuff however he does not teach the material very well. The tests he gives are much harder than the HW or questions in class. I am a straight A student and had the highest grade in the class which was a 75 C. Thankfully I pulled out a B. He just kind of expects you to teach yourselves and if you aren't good at math, he isn't for you.

Pay attention and take good notes. There are quizzes every Friday, which are worth 10 points each. The test are hard, but if you study the quizzes he gives you, you should have an A on the tests. The final exam is cumulative and is worth 200 points. If you study the previous three tests, the exam will be easy. He curves his grades also.

Prof. Dunlevy knows what he is teaching. He'll go over it over and over to make sure people understand. His homework and tests can be very difficult. He is, however, a nice person. Know Algebra II before going in is the best advice I can give.

The man knows his mathematical concepts. However he is terrible at conveying the material to his students. He provides extremely simplistic examples on the board during class, then assigns HW that he usually refuses to go over, and often ignores any questions asked. His tests are BRUTAL, he gives problems WAY beyond anything he went over in class

His teaching style is very laid back. He did a good job for me, in the long run, explaining things to me. He's very hepful outside of class if you need the extra attention. Nice guy, and I thought a pretty good professor.

I think this professor has checked out, he must be getting ready to retire. He goes over things quickly and expects you to understand. I've been lost the entire semester and when I asked him for help he kind of shrugged me off saying "well some people get left behind and they never catch up." There is a large portion of class that is failing.

He is a good guy when you get him outside of class. I had him for 2 classes and it was a nightmare. He give you examples then on a test he takes it to a level that is far beyond anything he taught. He gives homework every day that he hardly goes over, and then grades about 80% of them. He is a nice guy and will joke around but you should stay away.

He's very good when it comes to teaching the material, but, he gives quizzes at least once a week, sometimes twice. He's a VERY strict grader, he often takes off points for skipping small steps in your answer process. He also drops ur lowest test score. I recommend him.

He's really easy.I slept in there & made well over 100.He explains things so many times it's like beating it into your head.Be prepared to be bored though like I said I fell asleep.I am confident that the most mathmatically challenged person could ace his class.Hey he teaches an honors class too!

Crazy old man, he explains everything like it is simple, but whenever you get to the quizzes and tests he makes all the simple stuff a thousand times more complicated in ways he never explained.
