My favorite professor so far. Really nice guy that actually cares. Not too many assignments, and the ones he gives clearly correspond with the content lectured. I actually learned a ton in this class and would love to take him again. I was never stressed through out the entire class. This is a solid pick! I hope he is doing well! :D

good teaching skills,motivational,always there to help you, he has knowledge about the subject and gives extra credit for participation.100% I recommend him. he explains the chapter first and then he starts with the work and the projects.

Had this teacher for CIS1A, he is an extremely incredible teacher to have in class, especially when it's in a winter or summer semester. If any of you are looking to take CIS1A or other classes this person is teaching, I strongly recommend choosing Professor Coverdale as your instructor, he will give you a lot of help on your work.

Easiest class I have ever taken. Works through assignments ALONGSIDE with you. Will extend deadlines if he decides the class is behind. Posts 3/4 of the semesters work at the beginning of the semester, so it enables you to work ahead. 100 points ALONE on attendance, which will give you a whole letter grade up.

Mr. Coverdale was the best laid back teacher, he will stop to help you if needed. Super easy class you show up and in a nice cool room just chill and follow along with the programs. Super easy final and quizzes. Just overall a great teacher!

John Coverdale was my first professor for my 1 of many computer classes I will be taking, and I must say I absolutely enjoyed his class! Definitely would like to have him as my professor again. He helps you when you get stuck in the modules, and any questions you have in your work. He wants you to be successful in his class, and in your future!

I took gam21 online for spring semester, idk what was going on but he only gave us 7 very small assignments, one being where you introduced yourself & answer questions. Its was literally the easiest class ever. He said we needed the text book but i never opened it once. There were bo quizes or midterms/tests... maybe we got lucky this semester?

i had Professor Coverdale for game development and he was awesome, super nice and understanding if you talk to him. Attendance is a grade so just go to class. As long as you do the work you will get an easy A, not that much work.

John Coverdale was an amazing professor! Professionalism, clear speaking, quick communication, etc., are all attributes that make Coverdale incredible! A lot of assignments, but they were all fairly easy (I didn't even use the textbook)! As a high schooler at the time with a lot of other assignments/stress on my back, the class was very easy! :)

You have to take Coverdales class! Do your work, and stay on top of things. He does give you a chance to turn in late work, but don't bank on it, it can become overwhelming. The best thing about this class is that you get 3 chances or more on EVERYTHING(hw, quizzes, exams)! He might look intimidating, but he is the most understanding teacher!

What a great professor! He is super organized with his lectures, clear powerpoints, and adds interesting facts as well. Clear grading criteria (homework is on Blackboard). Make sure you pay attention during his lectures (don't be distracted by computers in front of you, you won't need it during his lecture), and do your homework, you'll get an A.

I had Mr. Coverdale for GAM-22. The class was a mix of group projects, uninteresting lectures, and constant research papers. While he seems knowledgeable, he provides little specific guidance. He takes more than a month to grade papers, and he uses outdated sources in a modern field, including a textbook that's out of print.

Great teacher! He's really helpful, and responds to email quickly. The tests, you can do at home and are open book. 4 to 5 assignments due weekly, but very easy! Lab assignments are similar to assignments you will do in class. easy 10 points. He gave extra credit and gave extra time to do make up tests around mid term time. Worth Taking!!
