Hardiman is the best. He's clever and has a dry sense of humor. I had him for a workshop that met at 8:30 PM and I never minded. I actually looked forward to it and I always wondered how the time went by so fast. Pay attention and ask him questions if you don't understand.

DO NOT TAKE! He should not be teaching anymore, he is extremely condescending, makes inappropriate comments and you wont even learn anything. The class is a complete waste of time, he just shoots the breeze and makes jokes at other peoples expense the whole class! Very few assignments but grades based on his personal opinion of you!!

I'm glad to see Professor Hardiman is still teaching. I had him as a professor more than 10 years ago and his assignments get you ready for the real world as far as IT goes, whereas most other classes focus on theory and textbooks. It wasn't an easy class, but most good classes aren't. Loves his trains.

I had him for remedial calc and I'm glad I did. It was a welcome refresher and he did a great job helping the class understand topics which became foreign so long ago. Jokes a lot, teaches a lot too and makes a boring topic actually interesting. Was a real pleasure to experience.

John Hardiman is not only the most knowledgeable professor but also the most caring professor I have ever had at Hofstra University. He makes it fun to learn and his class is never dull. If you don't take Professor Hardiman your missing out on a boat load of useful intelligence with regard to IT and life in general. DEFINITELY TAKE HIM!

I just want to let everyone know that this guy is an ****. I had a 3.75****and a 4.0 BCIS average before taking this jerk. He either likes you and gives you an A or gives a B if he dont. He provides no help in the class. If you ask him a question he will tell you that it is in the book. Do not take this class unless you have too.
