I LOVE DR. GOLD!!! He is so nice, lovable, caring, & funny! P-chem isn't the easiest subject, but he makes it possible to be somewhat understandable. The class is very interesting & I would recommend taking it, even if it's not required! He has helped me grow academically & personally. He's always willing to help if you need it. He is the greatest!

Comment:

Very good professor that I had for lab. Wants you to do the lab and understand but doesnt waste the whole lab lecturing. Very nice and the class for me was pretty easy. I would take the lab again. The only thing people didnt like were his quizzes I didnt think they were that bad he has to grade somehow and its better than all postlabs.

Pchem is a tough subject no matter where you take it or who you take it with. Dr. Gold wants each of his students to succeed in his class and as long as you work hard you will be just fine. He stresses the important topics in Pchem and those concepts should be the ones you focus on when studying.

Dr. Gold was amazing!!!! If I could take him for every chem class I would. Very down to earth and was never in lab for the full amount of time. We started on time, did what we had to do, and were finished within no time.

Dr. Gold is a great professor. Even though I have not completed his class yet I find him to be a great teacher. Our class of 8 is off to a great start and he is there for us every step of the way. His grading is fair and he will help you get an A if you work hard and do some of the leg work to do it.

Dr. Gold is the man! I had him for lab and he was awesome! Labs are easy and as long as you do the pre-labs then the course will go smooth! Also, ask him to show you his Zumba moves! Very fun professor and I enjoyed going to the labs.

Awesome professor. Dr. Gold's the man and can easily take most of the professors in the Chemistry Department, aka fight at the flag pole. His test are hard, however, he is reasonable with the grading. Very smart and is in love with delta G and the ramifications of P Chem. Mad chill, overall enjoyed his class, liked that he stressed p chem concepts.

Such a hard class and you need to focus but Dr. Gold was my favorite professor that I have ever had. He really tries to help everyone out as much as he can. I didn't like what we were learning about but I miss that class because it was always so much fun. Tests were very hard and labs were boring but he is really into it and that helped a lot.

Was teaching the class till he went on leave again. I heard this is a regular thing with him and this is not the first time. While he was teaching he was unclear and absent minded. A waste of ESU's time and money. Thank goodness the new professor subbing is much better at the job than he is.

He his the epitome of a hippie-chemist. It just shows, which is kind of cool. He is very aloof and doesn't seem to care much for gen chem lab. He always pushes people to take his P chem class, so I'm assuming he does this because he has more passion for it. A tad unprofessional and condescending. He's "Ok"

Never met such an unprofessional professor. This guy needs to find another job because he definately shows he hates what he does. Powerpoints are lame and doesn't even know the material well at all. I can read out of a textbook myself, I do not need someone to do it for me. Not recommended at all.
