I LOVE THIS MAN! He's funny and he gets to know you and joke with you. He loves the subject and gets you interested in it too. Pay attention in class and do all the problems in the back of the book and you'll be fine!

Professor Sarra is genuinely interested in the course he teaches and shows you the mechanisms step by step. His grading policy is very fair and he is always willing to take questions during class. His presentation is crystal clear and I actually enjoyed going to this class. You would be a fool not to take him.

I would only take this class with Dr. Sarra. Best Orangic Proff you could ask for, hes really into the subject so that helps plus hes very funny and knows just when to crack a joke or tell a story to take a break from the Orgo to keep your mind fresh and into the subject.

He is very straight to the point. He covers everything that is on the test and connects organic chemistry to medical examples (Hint pre-medical students take him). Orgo 131 was interesting with him as a professor and if you do the practice problems and understand the material you should get an A in his class. he gives 3 tests and a final

LOVE DR SARRA! these people are fools dont listen to them. orgo is hard, thats why its considered a "weed-out" course. hes so good at teaching and even devoted his own free time to hold review sessions. hes sarcastic but you get to know him you and realize its in good fun. he excels at breaking down tough material, but earning the a is on you!

This is the only class I've ever failed in my entire life. Orgo 2 with Dr. Sarra is much harder than with any other professor. His exams are 10 problems that he makes up completely independent of the textbook. Class avg grade was 40s on all exams. I had to switch majors after this class.

WORST EVER. I am a student who struggles with this subject, and he did NOT care. Effort doesnt count at ALL. Rude and condescending. He convinced me to take the final rather than withdraw from the class, and then failed me. And, gave me a grade MUCH LOWER than i deserved in lab, based on my lecture performance, even though theyre different classes.

He is a brilliant man who knows exactly what he is talking about. He acts with a sarcastic attitude most of the time because he sees things so simple he doesn't comprehend student incompitance. If you want to be able to do organic chemistry like a Ph.D, take a class with him. If you study, you can do Organic front and back blindfolded

Worst prof I have ever taken. Very rude and tests are much harder than any other organic prof. You cannot tell how you are doing because test avgs are about a 50. NEVER take him!!

Rather than answer anyones questions with sincere responses, Dr. Sarra will look at you with a nasty "WHAT?" when you ask something then reply with a sarcastic comment. This man goes on rants for minutes at a time and delays class for cigarette breaks which often last in the upwards of 20 minutes. He's a decent teacher but a jerk.

Anyone who seriously has a problem with this man obviously is too lazy to be 1) taking organic chemistry 2) becoming a doctor. If you do what he says. ie- review all of the mechanisms and read the book before each lecture you will do well. Otherwise, become an english major. All in all, the class was difficult by very doable. FYI, I got an A.

I have mixed feelings about this man.His tests where somewhat difficult.I am not too sure how I did in his class yet but the final was hard. His tests are a lot harder than the book questions. I studied my butt off and still couldnt fully do well on his tests. I dont know!

This guy is a friggin jerk. he comes off cool, but in fact, is a hard professor...ifu do the work, u can still almost fail is class. I got a really good grade, but thats onliy b/c I aced the final. His final is easier than his other exams and the class average on that was a 48. If u can wait for another professor, DO IT!!!!!

He's a cool guy if you have a sense of humor. He's great at teaching, says funny things with a straight face, and makes sure you understand the material before he moves on. Great class. Do what he says and you get an A.
