Dr. G was really nice and the class itself was interesting. Her exams were fair and we did watch a lot of Simpsons clips to understand the material better. She has 10 attendance checks, 5 of which are only counted.

The tests are really tough. Simply knowing the concepts is not enough, you need to be able to apply them. You absolutely NEED to read the textbook to fill out the study guides for the exams. She knows her stuff and the class is not boring. You only need to get 5/10 in class activities to get full credit for attendance and she drops the lowest exam

Gives good study guides that prepare you well for the exam if you take the time to fill them out with the textbook. She also takes a decent amount of questions from the textbook. Class is not mandatory because she posts her power points online. Lowest test score is dropped so the final is optional.

I would take a class taught by her again. You only need 5 out of 10 attendance points to get full credit for attendance which is easily handled, besides that you don't really need to go to class. She posts her powerpoints for her lectures. Tests are pretty hard though. I would study for hours but the questions/answers all seemed pretty subjective.

She loves the topic so much she makes you love it too, it's not a hard class if you're willing to put in just a little effort - liking the course helps/makes it so much easier. She's incredibly open to questions as well and tries to answer every single one, values student feedback too. Adorable woman honestly

Shes a pretty good teacher who is pretty familiar with the material. However, i didn't feel as though she helped me perform any better. I feel as though i taught myself all the information on my own. Exams questions aren't that hard but her multiple choice options usually have 2 answers that could be right. (not very straight forward).

Dr. Gasper gave very clear, long, sometimes boring lectures. You do not need to have or read the text book to pass, but the questions in each section of the book are helpful to prepare for the tests. She even uses some of those questions on the test so it is helpful to have.

Though the lectures are long, everything you need is in her powerpoint. She gives great examples in class and is willing to talk to you and explain further once lecture is over. Everything is pretty straight forward and should be an easy grade that looks good as "Grad School Prereq"

Easy class. Dr. Gasper is nerdy (in a good way) and really likes what she teaches. If you show up to the lectures every week you won't need to read the book at all. The tests are very fair. The lectures are kind of dry, but she tries her best to make it interesting by showing fun videos and doing class exercises.

Average 200 level Psych class. PROS: provides study guides, review sessions, extra credit for high attendance. CONS: lectures can be monotonous, exams are a little nitpicky.

She's a nice person and tries to be funny sometimes but I'm not a Psych major and I did find it challenging. She only gives like 4 tests so if you don't do great on them, that's not good. It must be possible to get an A if actually do well on them though. They're all multiple choice and the majority aren't tricky. But you NEED to read the textbook.

This class is so boring if you're not a psych major. Her exams are worded in the sense that they make sense to her, and people who can learn to think like her. She asked a lot of vague questions, but in the end it is still possible to get an A.

Class wasn't very difficult. Gasper is really nice but kinda boring sometimes. Lecture is helpful to go over main concepts but it's important to read the book before exams. There are some attendance checks and homework thing but definitely not a bad class.

I loved this class! I thought it was interesting material and Professor Gasper did such an excellent job and teaching it. Her lectures were clear and she always had good examples. In order to do well I would recommend reading the textbook and make sure you know her learning objectives. Take notes too. Do that, you will be fine and will like it

Ridiculously easy class. She is really nice and helpful in and out of class. You only need to complete 5 in class activities for you attendance grade and then you don't ever have to come again. Powerpoints are online and she also gives study guides. Just read the book and you'll be fine. Like most psych classes, it's an easy A.

I really just do not like the professor. She moves way too fast when presenting notes and I've had to ask her multiple times to slow down and she hasn't at all and actually got kind of snooty when I asked her to nicely. Mostly everything in the lectures are from the book. I'd write more but there's a 350 limit. Needless to say, I hate this class.
