DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!!!! Thankfully this is the last semester she is teaching. Unclear, hardest grader, insanely boring lectures. Weekly quizzes with 10 questions in which you need to memorize her 100 slides, filled with text, PowerPoints.

Comment:

One of the worst teachers I've ever had at Chico. She grades your work expecting you to be an expert on the subject, weekly quizzes that are ridiculous, and does not have enthusiasm for the students or subject matter. Do not take unless you love constant headaches.

DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. Hardest I've worked for a C-. Two quizzes a week that are pretty difficult. Makes you buy learnsmart and HR simulation (Almost $200 for both). Only one test on 13 chapters. Study guide came out to 40 pages long. Her point scale is stupid. Gives you ten points for something that will take 4-5 hours of group work.

I am an A student and will receive a C in this class. Dr. Lewis does not clarify what she wants and will take points whenever possible. The highest grade for the final was a 79%, keep in mind her final is worth 13 of your grade. When she grades your papers there isn't a point breakdown, she simply gives you a grade she thinks you should get.

The worst professor I've ever had. She puts so little effort into teaching the class and helping her students. She does absolutely nothing to prepare you for the final exam, refuses to give full credit on any and all written assignments, and just generally doesn't seem to care. Don't take her class, its a colossal waste of time.

I'm in my 4th year at chico state. I have never had the same professor twice. This, by far, is the worst teacher I have had during my tenure here. Her classes are pointless, she tests on stuff she never goes over, we do a stupid simulation that she has no idea what is going on. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. SHES TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible class and teacher. Seems easy at first then realization sets in that almost half the grade is based on ridiculous quizzes. Test are just as ridiculous. Then springs simulation project on last 2 weeks of class and a paper that ended up being 45 pages not including individual part in the last 2 days. Last semester and good riddance.

She is the worst teacher I have ever had! She needs to just retire or DIE & allow good teachers to be hired at Chico! The class grade is based on 10 quizzes that are so hard it is barely possible to have an average higher than a C on them! Then she has the hardest project that is only worth 40 points!! & a final that is ridiculous. HATED HER!!!

there are no tests except for the final and quizzes. The final was ridiculous...she structured 50 questions based on the ENTIRE book so good luck studying for that one. Class is entirely based on quizzes and simulation is BS...only had 2 days to write a 25 page paper.

I took her class for mgmt 304 and mgmt 300. the report for the simulation in mgmt 304 is ridiculous. the direction was unclear not to mention she changed the format two days before it was due, we had to totally rewrite a 30 page paper. expect quizzes before she lectures the chp and essay exams that require you to remember excessive amounts of info

Professor is ridiculous, you can tell she's worked in HR. She relies too heavily on the book giving quizzes on every chapter - her exams are all written and she expects you to write ever detail you can remember from the book. She is technologically challenged and doesn't know how to operate her PowerPoints. She is outdated and needs to be retrained

A poor excuse for a professor and a great example of what teacher tenure will get you. She ever posted grades in a reasonable time and her grading scale was very subjective and ambiguous. Predicting your actual score was impossible. She followed the book and simulation (a joke) and created a horrible learning experience. Worst class ever.

I usually don't respond to these things but I have to let future students know NOT TO TAKE HER! She is by far the worst teacher I have ever had and does not have a hold on the class atmosphere at all. We would spend all class period going over one 10 question quiz and nobody would know what she would be talking about. Terrible teacher.

She is a terrible teacher teaching an incredibly useless class which should not even be necessary. Every subject covered in that class is just common sense except you have to learn the buzzwords that refer to them. Also, Lewis grades essays way too hard considering the fluff we are learning about. DO NOT TAKE HER!
