Kathryn is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She knows how to explain things so well so that you understand them easily. She's understanding, but also appropriately challenging. She is exceptional!

Kathryn is a great teacher who explains the basic idea, and leaves you to use your brain to figure the rest out. If you do have trouble, she will help - but likes to give as little info as possible so that you can figure it out. I really like this method, but I understand others don't.

Hard class, never explains anything. Took this course online, and she would never meet after class to provide any additional help. She definatley should not be the department chair. Usually chairs a at least somewhat helpful.

This instructor gave the clearest explanations I ever heard. The textbook was enhanced, but we were never limited to the textbook. We were challenged, but never intimidated. I recommend this instructor to all of my friends.
