her lectures are fine and clearly knows what she's talking about, but good lord she is an extremely tough marker. It genuinely felt like nothing was good enough, and I found that what she expected wasn't really laid out well.

No matter if you think you're doing good. You can fail even if you're passing, based on her discretion. Very tough grader and not at all accommodating. Not recommended ! Will never take a course with her again!!!!

Her lectures were fun and she had a good sense of humor. Very approachable. The exams were a bit tough, you definitely have to self-teach a lot of the course. Do your textbook readings/reviews and youll be fine. I enjoyed her class but be prepared to work. Group projects were pretty easy. Please upload your profs reviews, pay it forward!

You can tell she loves her nutrition science and she is a funny lady. Though, I do have a few comments. Her information is VERY out dated. We could be using a new textbook but she uses the old one (I really dont know why). Learning something you can't apply. Kind of a waste. Also, the group and partner projects? very high school. kind of a joke.

Solid professor, really knows her information. When teaching nutrition, you can tell she is able to tie it in with her superior knowledge of exercise science. Put in the work, pre read the chapters before the lecture and you will do fine. She is approachable and answered all my questions pertaining to the material as the course went on.

Kathryn is a great professor! She is really passionate about Nutrition. She is easy to talk too and very reasonable. I had to take this class, but was glad that I did. This was a condensed course, so there was a lot of lecturing! But, it was interesting! There was a group assignment (not hard), self-assignment (Easy), and one final exam.

She is a nice and interesting lady. If you have passion towards nutrition and all this stuff, you should take this course. However, get ready to read the textbook and memorize all these little details about minerals and vitamins (RDA, sources, etc.). You won't get A for nothing, so put effort, and you'll be fine.

Its clear that Kathryn loves to teach and if you enjoy the material then you will really enjoy her class. She makes you feel comfortable asking questions and she creates a good learning environment. Not a breeze through class as its a 3rd year course so you got to work hard to get good marks but she rewards those who show they care and do the work

She is nice, approachable and willing to help you try to learn. Her lectures are super boring and very long. Attendance is graded and she takes it after the break. She has make-up assignments. Marks super easy on assignments. Exams are very, very hard and based on obscure parts of the text or the group project subjects. Certainly not an easy A

Had her for 1192 and 1195. On the nutrition final it was 60 multiple choice questions 50 of which were on different vitamins and mineral- it was beyond ridiculous since she herself does not teach that to you (the students do). As for 1195 the midterm was super hard, but final was easy. Definately inconsistency in what to expect

Her lectures are all over the place! Lecture topics and exam questions don't really match up. Make sure you read the textbook. Study the details cause she expects you to know them (eg quantities, percentages, etc). Assignments and presentations are graded easily to make up for her brutal exams. I would not want to take another class with her.

She's interesting, but not a great teacher. Expectations are unclear. Midterm was killer. I read the textbook but mostly studied topics discussed in class. She asked the most obscure questions from the textbook that we never talked about. You have to teach yourself most of the material from the book because she skips alot of important points.

This class is hard! She seems so laid back in class. But seriously, you really really MUST read the textbook and study from there, NOT just topics discussed in class. She only covers about 50% of the material in class. Projects/presentations graded fairly, but those tests are horrible! You really have to know your stuff.
