Posted on here back in the Stone Age... But I thought I'd say that, as someone who loved her class, went on to get a MS in Meteorology, and is now a Meteorology Professor (just like her!), I'd still happily recommend her! And I'd want her to teach in my department. Happily recommend her! My first Meteorology Professor!

I took her METRO 10 class and found out how Meteorology works. She has a fascinating method of teaching, as she was an alternate meteorologist. She gives good positive feedback and is helpful. I highly recommend her class.

Well structured online class with interesting and engaging instructor information sections. Weekly discussions and quizzes, Midterm, and final. If you read the instructor provided material, pay attention to the study topics, and read the book you will pass with flying colors. Professor Trafton is very helpful and responsive to questions.

Not a bad class. Easy to take even on top of an already full load. There's a 10-question "quiz" every week, a weekly discussion, and two tests throughout the entire semester. Very easy to pass, but you need the book.

I don't recommend taking this class online just because there is so much in the study of Meteorolgy, I think w/ a face-to-face lecture information would've been more comprehensible and more interesting. Light weekly work load. Final exam is questions from the weekly assignments. You'll pass if you READ the text book. Interesting discussions as well

Kathy Trafton's webpage is organized. She responds to your questions and work in a timely manner, and grades assinments quickly. She assigns a reasonable weekly workload and offers extra credit. There's no reason you can't get an A in the class if you do all of the assignments and study for the weekly quizzes, midterm, and final.

Can be easy A if you take the time to search for answers for the quiz. Participate in discussion weekly, those are the easy points! Some questions on midterm & final are excatly same as wkly quiz. When you cant find something in text, use internet resources.

Ms. Trafton was very organized. There is a lot of material to cover but if you study and work hard you will get an A. If you put effort in your writing and you will be rewarded. She gives extra credit too. Very nice and helpful.

This online meteo 3 credit and meteo lab were great classes! Teacher has great lecture material, questions right out of them in order! Save your results and quizes, questions on finals! Easy easy and loads of fun, and very informative!

I don't understand the "big buttons" or the "crack the whip and get to work" comments mentioned on here, because I saw and felt neither of them with professor Trafton! Only my 3rd online class in 5 years of school, and I loved it! It only takes about an hour or two a week to meet all the requirements and everything is reasonable! Great professor!

Interesting fun class. She keeps the subject going. A lot of information is covered, no book is required, all of the info is in her online lecture for this lab class, or on links that she supplies. The weekly discussions are a lot of fun, and will make you think about things. This is a very good class to take, the teacher is fair.
