I struggled terribly in kohanis class. I stayed after each class and did problems. I would have been lucky to escape with a D. Like others Kohani believed that I had ability and gave me a C. Instead of being discouraged I knew I had to work hard for the next class. It seems like people are just upset that the professor was better looking than them.

Kohani taught my first math class. I have now finished differential equations. If you put forth the effort Kohani will believe in you and take you to the next level. He is an AMAZING person, if you are willing to listen to him. Man! I feel like I owe him my life. I NEVER liked math, now Im doing engineering at UCSD. He inspired me, BIG TIME!

Avoid like the Black Death. He is useless and does not know how to teach...The only reason I got an A is because I worked my ass off with tutors. Also, he likes to flirt, which is not right for a teacher to do to a student.

I wish somebody had told me about this teacher before I took his class. He's is rude, chauvinistic, and arrogant. I did not pass because of his teaching style. I always have good grades. You care about your grades, pick a different teacher.

He is very approachable. If you dont ask he will procede, so ask questions! Tests based on homework and chapter reviews. One of the better instructors. Replies to emails and stays after class to answer ?'s...2 thumbs up!

He is good at explaining things. The tests are predictable, and the book is heavily used. Would recommend him a lot. He does assign homework everyday, but it's not a lot and it helps a lot towards the test. He's pretty lenient on students who show an interest in learning and actually are trying and pay attention.

Mr. Kohani is a good teacher that makes time for his students. Although he can be flirtatious and throw inappropriate jokes from time to time, he knows the subject matter very well and promptly responds to e-mails and and answers questions when help is needed.

Prof Kohani is an excellent teacher! He always made himself available to answer anyones questions when they had trouble; and wanted to make sure everyone was clear on the subject before moving on. I definitely reccommend him for any students and would take his class again! I wish he taught more high level math classes so that I could take them!
