Comment:

Calculus class consisted of a few things. Quizzes were every Friday, he would give us homework problems after each class to review but he does not check it. You're only graded on the quizzes, midterm and final. His class is not so bad but just make sure you take good notes and review after each class. He ends class early!! :)

Comment:

He is legit my FAVE FAVE FAVE FAVE math professor at kean ! He makes everything so simple and easy to understand. There are quizzes every week but its just like the hw problems. He loves ending class early as much as we do so its a win win ! Hes really the best professor I had at kean and I will be looking for his name again for next semester.

He is very straightforward. He wont teach anything unnecessary, his classes are very short. You are only graded based on the tests and quizzes. The HW problems he gives are exactly the type of problems on the weekly quizzes, midterm, and final. Just do your HW, make sure you understand it and you will pass.

I love him. He is very awkward but a nice professor. He finishes lecture very fast. Be prepared for a one or two question weekly quiz that is based on the homework. He is a fair grader. Dr. Tse makes you work for your grade.

Comment:

He cares a lot about his students, homework is not graded and attendance was not mandatory but we had weekly quizzes so you could not miss class. He can be a little hard to understand sometimes but he is willing to teach if you don't understand the material. He is not a tough grader, Midterms/Finals are a little tough but still passed the class.

I took his class during Summer Semester. He gives homework but does not check, it is just for you to practice. Midterms and Final are only 5/6 questions but they are a little difficult. He is not a tough grader, he passes if you put a little effort into the class.

One of the best math professors at kean along with Vigilione. He is clear and you can understand they material because of the way he teaches it. You are graded on quizzes, midterm, and final and that is it. He is not accessible for help in his office and that is his only negative.

I'm not sure why he has so many bad reviews but he is probably the greatest math professor I've ever had. He makes everything so simple. You just have to get used to the way he teaches. In class he doesn't really have persona l conversations but he will say hi and chat outside of class. He is kind of surprising that way

This is the smartest math professor I've seen. He's a great teacher and puts things in the most simple terms. The homework is not collected but he takes problems from it for his weekly quizzes so make sure you do it, it really helps. He's also a really easy grader. Going to class really helps too

The most practical math professor I have ever taken. Best class-structure/arrangement. Notes, followed by homework, followed by quiz, then repeat until midterm and final. He goes over any problems you encounter with the homework at the beginning of every class. Knowledgeable and easy to follow. Strong accent, but understandable.

This professor has no manners, and is very disrespectful and most of all doesn't want to help you one bit, no matter what it is. He is very rude, and impatient. You ask him for any help,he will be like you should know this this isn't my problem The class is only 2 tests, and a quiz everyday. He will do anything to try to fail you DONT TAKE HIM !!!

First of all, he is a hilarious professor if you get to know him. Smartest math professor I've ever come across. Not the best teacher but if you just pay attention and do the homework(not collected) than you can pass the class with a good grade.

horrible grader. he is probably the smartest math professor but he really does not care. He is almost never there for office hours, you literally have to chase him. His grading criteria is horrible. BEWARE! do not take him unless you are a math genius or you love math more than anything.

Dr. Tse is a straight forward guy. You have a quiz every week (on the last day of that week in which you attend the class) and a midterm and final. He RARELY collects homework. If you have a good record with him and keep at least a small amount of communication with him, he works with you.

Professor Kung-Kuen Tse is a great professor, in my opinion he teaches exactly what the students need know in order to succeed and solve the problems. Very practical and extremely efficient; however the students have to work hard.
