I just talked to Alex Sevigny at a cd launch party at a club in Toronto and he told me that Lars lives in Porto now. I loved that guy. He was so serious, but such a hippie at the same time. We used to talk about The Republic and politics all the time. I remember because he was Sevigny's best friend - that's why I asked Alex where Lars is now.

Lars was the only reason that I enjoyed Research Methods. He was very generous with his time and he really loved the material. I used to look forward to his semiotic analyses.... I remember one of U2. I am now in Law School and I must say that I still remember Lars as being the best TA I ever had. Pity he left. I hear that he lives in Europe now.

i had lars as a t/a a long time ago. i have graduated now. honestly, i think that he is really what a professor should be: serious, warm, erudite and a little withdrawn. of all the people i had at mac as profs, lars stood out and marked me. he impressed me with the importance of reason, the classics and the quest for truth and search for beauty.

Lars taught this course: even though he was the TA. I would skip the classes, but never missed the tutorial. A great teacher, good sense of humour, amazingly intelligent, he injected meaning into material that felt barren and lifeless.

Lars is a sexy beast. he is also an AMAZING tutorial leader. i wish he was the professor... he's much smarter than anyone in programme except maybe Dr. Sevigny.

I don't know that he's a prof or a TA, but this guy KNOWS his stuff. Really intelligent guy who can make dry material interesting. If you put in the effort, you'll see strong results with Lars.
