Comment:
A lot of self-studying and internet help. All lectures are hand written ppt slides, which are hard to read sometimes. Quite voice. A lot of derivations, but he reads through them rather quickly and not enough of examples to do HW. Exams are different from HW, more conceptual. Extra credit offered often. Overall he cares for students to do well.

This was not an easy class as far as material and exams go, but he is very generous with bonus points, lets you redo a midterm problem if you really messed it up, and Im pretty sure he curved the class a lot. Also, go to office hours, he is interesting to talk to and very helpful.

Prof Brillson was amazing. Great guy and extremely helpful, especially in office hours. Allows you to use multiple cheat sheets in exams and the exams were pretty fair. Highly recommend.

Dr. Brillson is truly a gentleman. You should take as many classes as you can with Brillson. He is fair, generous, fun, and prepares you pretty well. If you read his notes, follow the book, and do the homework you will do fine. He is probably the best in 331/432 series.

Probably the best teacher for 331/432 series. Sometimes goes a little fast through lectures. I had to learn a little bit from the book on my own but the bottom line is that this guys gives so much extra credit you would have completely blow the class off to get a grade below a B. He also curves exams so that class average is around an 85%.
