She is one of the best teachers ever! She is willing to work with you outside of class and cares about her students. She makes you work for your grade but she is willing to help you whenever she can.

Comment:

Dr. Z is one of my favorite professors that Ive had at Witt! Gives super great and useful feedback on all assignments and made russian great to learn! Coming from someone with no prior knowledge of languages, I am really glad I took this class. A little fast and handwriting hard to read. But take advantage while you can!

Comment:

Very sweet lady, has a way of roping you into being a major/minor. Very enthusiastic and knows her stuff, and not afraid to tell you if youre wrong. Cares about every student, but loves those who try. Gives you but of culture as well as language. Russian is difficult to learn, but she makes it bearable. Only prob is NO VOCAB- hard to learn

Since I was adopted from Russia, learning the language meant a lot to me. Having her as my professor is the cherry on top. Though the language can be difficult at times, she strives to help everyone understand it. She is avaliable the majority of the time outside of class and if not, she will make time. Always has a smile on her face. She's great!

Very passionate, fun lady. Very willing to meet outside class. You can scrape by and get a B, but beware- you wont actually understand the material. Effort needed consistently outside class time. I rather enjoyed the course

Dr. Z is an awesome professor. Yes, she can be a little unorganized at times, but that doesn't get in the way of her courses. She tries her best to make things as easy as possible for students, and will work with you as much as possible to help you make it through class. Also, she understands many circumstances (health, weather, family issues...)

She is very helpful. If you have trouble with a Russian concept she will always make time to help you after class. She can be very unorganized and hands a lot of papers so it's hard for you to stay organized. She's very caring about her Russian minor/major students.

Took a Wittsemm with her my freshman year. The lectures were relatively uninteresting, but since this was a film class, it didn't matter much. Was rather rude when I told her about a medical problem that was affecting my class work. Advising sessions were nightmares. Be cautious when taking a course with her.

Excellent cook. Outside project was hard and I felt like I wasn't gonna meet her expectations. She wasn't very clear about them....Whatev. Anyway, she really exposes you to a lot of different types of russian authors that don't put you to sleep. It's a fun class, take it.
