DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!! If you are not a grad student taking her class who is already a teacher/special ed teacher you will most likely fail! Its mainly group projects that take 3 hours to complete!!! She tells you what she expects on a project, you do EXACTLY as she say, you will get a C because it "only meets the requirement"!!!!

Reads off of powerpoints and very strict grading on citations for her two projects and assessments. Make sure you know APA. AHA assignments one per week worth 1-2 points each.

Miller-Dunleavy is an enthusiastic, knowledgable teacher. The class was pretty fun. She doesn't want you to fail. We had a brief homework assignment every week, two exams, and a two part project. As long as you really know your APA formatting, you should be fine.

Nice teacher. She does read from power points, but she elaborates as well. She is to the point, thus can come off a bit sassy. She will give you a hard time about turning in assignments, but will be flexible if she knows that you've been putting in effort and time. Gives AHAs easy assignments and also extra credits that you only get if present.

Class is boring! Reads from a PowerPoint for 3 straight hours. Cares more about APA than actual assignments. Avoid at all cost!!! Not engaging, I literally died every time going there.

This is not the type of class i was actually able to learn from mainly because of the fact that i can and did read the same power points myself. i think the strictness to apa is great if i wanted to be an English teacher but since i do not i found it to be quite petty and subjective

Professor Dunleavy was actually a pretty great professor to have! She had "pop up" attendance usually for extra credit so make sure to attend class. Very helpful if you have any questions, but sticks to a strict grading system.

Dr. LMD is wonderful! I felt that she was straight forward and if you participated in class, and did the reading you were golden. I have taken her for 2 classes and would take another with her if possible.

attendance necessary for the homework assignment. only 2 tests, pretty long and difficult, but taken out of class. tough grader in that she is very big on citations and will dock you many points for mistakes in APA--a few projects: tedious, but they're not too bad, just make sure to follow the rubric EXACTLY. lectures can be very dull

She is so boring and reads everything straight off the PowerPoint but if you don't go to class you will not get the assignment that she gives out. She gives so many different assignments and if you mess up the citations you will lose so many points. On the bright side there are only two tests that are taken out of class but they are very hard.

She is great teacher and super sweet. Yes she is very blunt and to the point and her lectures are very boring. However, I have learned a great deal from her and if you pay attention and go to her office hours. You will have no trouble passing. Attendance is necessary for the homework assignments!

Most boring class I have ever taken. She reads straight from the powerpoint the entire time, which are provided by the textbook company. Tons of videos, which are nice sometimes but then the dreaded powerpoint comes back. Tests come from the most random questions and are nearly impossible to find answers to - also extremely specific on tiny details

Professor MD is amazing! Yes, she is a PowerPoint reader, however, she also shares many personal stories and is so inspirational. Her class was very enjoyable. Be involved, turn in the AHAs and projects (actually put thought and effort into your work), and you will do just fine. We had 2 projects, 1 midterm, 1 final, and 14 AHAs during summer.

Weekly homework assignments (given in class, so attendance is necessary), midterm, final, & a major project. The PowerPoints were dry, but informative. She also injects personal experiences to relate to the material. She loves students who participate and are on top of their work.

I would not recommend her. She is very blunt and sassy. If you do not do the AHAs.. (I missed one) and she was not there for me anymore. If you already have a relationship w her you'll do great. If not good luck and sucK up if you want help on the difficult assessment project. Not clear on the project or anything and very scatterbrained & forgets

Her lecture are super long and super boring, she reads right off her PowerPoint which she posts online. However if you don't g to class, you don't get the homework assignment (AHA) and her homework counts apart of her final grade a good amount. Easy assignments, only three assignments and tests are kinda hard, but online, only a midterm and final.

She is a nice lady and is willing to help but her lectures are long, boring, and don't help with tests. The 3 projects aren't hard but her APA and plagiarism standards are insane. If you take a plagiarism quiz at the beginning you get to resubmit with corrections which helps. Possible to do well but reading is a MUST!

Reads the ppt the whoooole time. mid term and final where very oddly worded, and the info was hard to find stuff, not things that stand out in your mind.If your papers are not in perfect apa they will not get a fair shake, be warned. Directions for assignments were not very clear, some had multiple conflicting directions found in different places!
