A big work load but its manageable! Strict but Clear grading criteria! You pretty much have to work for you grade! This isnt a class you can just breeze through in my opinion! If you dont take the time to study outside of your regular work load youre in for a rude awakening! There were 4 projects, not just math problems! Overall, a good class!

Be aware that if you arent good with fast pace professors dont take her I wish I didnt choose her class because she went way to fast for me I also she grades way to tough with no extra credit or even any makeup so basically if you mess up on test your done for unless you do well on the final.

Overall I would recommend her. Took online. Make sure you study the powerpoints and practice questions. She gives partial points even if you get a question wrong but show your steps and thought process. She answers question in a timely manner if you ask them. Needed a 70% to pass, got a 72% lol.

I took MATH252 online with Professor Brown and honestly, I could not be happier. If you have questions, she will help you and give you resources to help you find solutions. Also, she is a very fair grader and will give partial points even if you get the problem wrong. She definitely made the class run more smoothly. Her note sheets are very helpful

Excellent Professor if you have been out of math for awhile take her she is awesome. Took her in class room setting for 081 after being out of math for many years. She explains things very well and is very down to earth.

If you are good at online classes, meaning quick enough to grasp the material by yourself and motivated to put in time, then her class is great. Her tests avoid some of the more annoying technical stuff, and she will find ways to give you enough partial credit for a good grade. Also, she gives test reviews similar to the tests.

She is available to you outside of class which is great. However she is a harsh grader and take points off for small things. I'm sure sh's a great in class teacher, however, for me personally I found taking her online was not easy. Mostly, the best thing to do is practice a whole lot, it's on you to do your best not the professor.

This class was a breeze. The assignments were clear and easy to do. She was very available for questions and she responded promptly. The unit test and final were very light weight, wasn't too hard. Basically she made it so that if u learned the material during the semester then you had no chance of failing the test.

Pretty good prof, took her for online class calc 2 - have to be able to teach yourself the bulk of the info, but she does not make the tests too hard and is a fair grader. Assignments are not too bad, and she is always willing to help if you ask! Overall pretty good prof

Lisa Brown is a good teacher for a motivated and responsible student who likes online classes. I took both math251252 with her. If you have a question she will answer it well and most of the time send you an example on how to do it. Everything you need to pass is in the worksheets. Fair grader and is willing to listen to questions on her grading.

You are graded on 4 assignments and 4 exams. Then your final. I took this class online and needed help outside the class. The notes she gave gets you the basic, but the assignments are involved. Tests are tough. I felt like the reviews didnt cover everything on the test. Im not taking it online next sem.

Took her online class, got an A. I found the topics in the class moderately challenging, but the notes/handouts for each section are well written. Sometimes I had to use an outside reference for certain topics, but overall very clear. Exams are tough but fair - WORK THROUGH THE EXAM PREVIEWS. She'll help you out big time too, just ask. Great class.

I took Math 251 online last semester and I have to say I enjoyed the class. The "handouts" for each chapter are usually very clear and explain topics far better than the textbook. The only reason I needed the textbook was for the exercises. Tests are challenging, but they make sure you understand the material. Great teacher, great class.

She is very helpful! She teaches MATH 252 ONLINE and i really enjoyed it! She gives 4 assignments which can be fustrating! She is very helpful though! Her grading is very fair, if you get a problem wrong, she doesnt take off a lot of points. She gives extra credit that helps your test grade a little bit. She gives Review for the test as well!

This class was okay. Lisa is very nice and a fair grader, but it's a lot of work. Loooots of little assignments, like busy work. Also, I had her for a hybrid class and we had to go to the testing center for tests, which was pretty annoying. Overall, not too bad. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. deducts 5% or more off final grade for too many absences
