Mrs. A was one of the best professors I had my first year. You can definitely tell that she cares for all her students. You only need the book for the midterm and final. Also, she's a super easy grader- I wrote almost all the speeches the night before. As long as you come to class and get all your stuff turned in on time, it's an easy A.

It's hard to like this course if you don't like giving speeches, but Anderson makes this class easier to get through. She makes it clear from the start in the syllabus what she wants from you and what your presentations will be. Before each one she'll go over everything she wants in the speech. You need to try, but she is very understanding.

Mrs. Anderson is a phenomenal instructor. It is COMS 100 so there is a lot of work involved, but she gives less assignments than other teachers. There are four speeches, two self-assessments, a midterm, and a final. You genuinely have to try to fail her class. She does not offer extra credit but with her you really do not need it.

Professor Anderson was an absolute sweetheart. She really cared about students and how they did in class. She was really clear about what she wanted from the class. You have to put in some time for this class to do good on the speeches.

Professor Anderson was an incredible professor and is a great person to talk to about ANYTHING! She cares about her students so much. The lectures in class were alright, but she pushed all of us to do our very best for all of our speeches and other courses. She is a true inspiration and tries her best to show us what is important in life!

Mrs. A is very sympathetic towards the fact that most of her students are first-semester freshmen! Lectures are disorganized but you don't really need them. I don't like public speaking at all, but the majority of the points are based on your written outlines, so I only ever got a couple points off for delivery. Best COMS 100!

Class surrounds 4 main speeches. Take your time and write out your speeches and practice many times and you will do fine. Besides the 4 main speeches there are 2 test. Skim the book. She is super nice and everything is hilarious to her. Very liberal, be prepared to be bombarded with diversity and the environment. However, she is still fair.

She is very kind and is very accessible outside of class and is very good on responding to emails. However, she has clear grading criteria and has high expectations for you, if you don't do what she says she will get upset. For example for two of the speeches you must have a visual aid on a flash drive; she will not let you look it up on google.

Easiest honors class you will ever take is with her. She grades super easy as long as you follow the general requirements for the speeches. She's super caring and will help you if you are struggling, but that won't be an issue in this class. If you show up to class and do the bare minimum, you'll get an A.

Take her if you want a painless COMS 100 class. Got As on all my speeches because she allows you to use as many note cards as you want. Just follow the criteria she posts online. She is a super easy grader. You are not really allowed to miss class though. Lectures can get boring, but it is SO easy and she is so nice. She cares about her students.

Mrs. Anderson is super nice and always willing to collaborate with you if you're stuck on coming up with a speech topic. I'm not a great public speaker but I still got an A in this class. Tests (1 regular + the final) are extremely easy.

Amazing professor. This was my first speech class, and I was so worried! She is beyond helpful and truly wants to see every student in her class succeed. It was such a comfortable environment in her classroom. Extremely clear grading criteria. I recommend her to all of my friends. Would take again!

Mrs. Anderson is the kind of woman where you want to try in her class just because she is so incredible. She is the sweetest lady ever, and she is so willing to sit around and help you with anything; her class, future planning, personal issues, etc. If you put the time in, she will too. Loved her!

Mrs. Anderson is honestly one of my favorite teachers ever. She is so kind and always positive. You can tell she genuinely cares about the well-being of her students. Also, any conversation in fair game because she loves to be there for you and is very supportive.

Mrs. Anderson was really helpful with extended deadlines when I was sick. She gives you great advice on your speeches. However, for the few writing assignments there are, she is kind of a tough grader. It's easy to lose points here and there any barely get an A. Read the textbook for help on the final and midterm!
