Keep in mind she was battling an illness while she was teaching.My last encounter with her was in 2008 or 09. I took her because of her 20+ years of experience in Psych.She worked for a group home.I was interested in her experience with children from all backgrounds.Her discussions are meant to stretch your perspective and to test your awareness.

She is amazing! she a what every teacher should be. Its so simple to get an A in this class! Go to class, take notes, and pay attention! her midterm and final are straight from her lecture. Super simple and amazing! she loves the subject and makes u love it too! TAKE THIS CLASS!

Whatever you do, don't take this teacher. She's super easy, but it's not worth the headache. Didn't give back a single thing until the last day and even then you hardly got anything back. Doesn't get back to emails and can't answer basic questions about the class/projects. Lost 1/3 of the classes midterms & couldn't even take responsibility for it!

Ok i just got home from the last day of class, and i want to go off on this prof. I want to cuss her out so bad on here, but i'm gonna keep it clean so others can learn. This broad NEVER returns papers. this means you have NO IDEA what grade you have in the class. She's disorganized. she doesnt know anything. she's biased. DONT TAKE HER!!!!

I was switched into this class from Lisa Taylor *who rocks* The only thing interesting this semester was Jasser's lime green eyeshadow. She makes sex sooo boring! Don't take her wait for a real teacher!!

easy class but i didn't learn a thing. I think she'd be better off teaching some kind of politics class because it seemed thats all she cared about however she would try to tie it into the lesson so you couldn't argue with her. huge disappointment. if you want to take human sexuality take a different teacher.

I took her Psych 100 class over the summer and all we really did was learn about development and then get thrown into a (senseless) group project. She's nice and teaches from experience, but I wouldn't recommend taking this class from her unless you only want to learn about development.

she teachs by her experience stories,good explaination However, unclear syllabus and not really helpful in homeworks or assigment.In her class, should bring recorder coz she doesn't have any powerpoint or handout and only few things can rely on the book.Oh, i forget, you dun need to buy book for summer class, just waste money.

She teached really well never used the book. She was CRAZY!!! She gave everyone these "extra credit" assignments and then at the end of the year she said they were mandatory!!! so many people failed including me. She also gave us an option of taking the final but didnt give it to us until the last 5min of class. WORST TEACHER EVER!!!!

I took Child Psych and Human Sexuality and I really enjoyed both classes. Each class was very interesting and not much work is required; the classes are not very hard at all. Midterm and final questions were take home & come directly from the notes. Since questions come from the notes, just go to every class, take notes and don't buy the book!

I took proffesor Mais Jasser in the spring, for child psych. she did not use the textbook at all so don't bother buying it. She speaks from her knowledge. Very intresting and exciting class! I took Ms. Jasser's child psych class in the spring. She often did not teach the subject of the class, and wasn't clear on assignments. She did not use the book at all, and the exams were open note or take-home. It was an easy class, but I didn't get my midterm grade until the day of the final. She required us to go to leftist presentations.

To put it simply... take her during summer or winter, the easiest a I ever received. And her lectures are interesting if you have a genuine interest on how to raise kids. You have a final essay and a group presentation on the end but shes very lenient as long as you are personable. =]

I took child developement and human sexuality with Ms. Jasser and I loved them both. The bottom line is, she has a teaching style that isnt traditional, she wants students to think for themselves and look at the world from outside of the box. An easy class, just do the basic work and have your own opinions. She is rad, you can do well.

I was very interested in child psych prior to this class. However I was very disappointed she never came to class! She teaches from her memory and doesn't EVER reference the book. I got a 50% on the midterm because it was open book and I gave answers that were FOUND IN THE BOOK.
