Comment:

She is definitely great at teaching the material. If you don't know something please do not hesitate to ask because she will definitely break it down to where you can understand. If you do not go to class you will definitely not pass. I would definitely have a A if I had studied for her test but all in all I recommend.

Super easy class and material. Very nice lady, so be patient with her. She's old and kinda showing it. Easy easy easy A.

Comment:

Dr. Reba is very sweet, but her lectures are heavy and can get boring at times. The class material is easy if you show up and do practice problems. She can get scatterbrained at times and messes up a lot, but overall, she is not bad.

Comment:

Mrs. Reba is a nice lady but I think it's time she retires. She loses her students during lecture because she doesn't realize it's because she's boring. Stat is not difficult to learn but I started watching YouTube videos to teach me concepts she made seem way more difficult. Quizzes and group worksheets are graded some days, HW once a week.

Not a bad professor, but the class on average was dull. It was difficult for students to continue paying attention during the class. Taught heavily with powerpoint presentations.

Comment:

Good professor. Her lectures are good, but can feel really long during the 75 minute classes. She is easy to get a hold of over email, and has good office hours. One of the sweetest professors I have ever had. Dr. Reba obviously cares about her students and wants to see them do well.

Good professor that cares about her students. Will explain things individually if you ask. Only a few homework problems due per week. Can be a bit scatter-brained but is open to correction if there is an issue. If you pay attention to lectures and do the practice problems, should be an easy A.

She was an ok teacher, with a simple subject to teach. Over complicated a lot ended up reteaching myself the information in the library after class. Went to her office hours and was told I wasted her time. However its an easy A math credit if you go to class

If you're looking for an interesting honors course to take, definitely sign up for this one! Not only is the course super interesting, Dr. Reba goes at a pace that is just right for students and loves to get feedback.

She lectures for the entire class, which helps to learn the material, but the quizzes are alien to the lectures and the problems are "special examples" that she never lectures about. The tests are even more foreign to the lectures. She is nearly unavailable and doesn't seem to care about student success. She doesn't even know her TA's name.

Comment:

She is really great about giving you a warning about what will be on the test. Also, if you go in to her with your test after you receive a grade she'll go over it and give you some points back. While she is a bit scattered sometimes, her notes are really great and she is always willing to help if you need it.

Spends the whole class just making students follow along and copy down what she writes, doesn't actually teach the class. Half the time the students have to raise their hands and correct her mistakes because she messes up so much.

Reba is a great professor, she is scatter brained from time to time and will lose her train of thought. But she provides EXCELLENT note packets and study guides in order to help you prepare for every test. Very helpful during office hours and will stay after nights to help students. In class quizzes, but aren't difficult if you take notes in class.

Comment:

Class is good. What she lacks in explanation, she makes up in helping you in and after class. She told us that they were gonna curve the grade in the end. She gives HW every class and its supposed to be submitted next class. HW is easy and helps. 1010 Would take her again. Textbook only required for HW.

She taught in a very dry, boring way and yet she gave quizzes and study guides that were super helpful for the tests. I do not think she taught well but she gave materials that were essential to helping me do well in calculus. I would definitely recommend since even though her lectures are long, she prepares you for the hard tests.

I went to class because there is an attendance policy, but everyone had to go to SI or teach themselves outside of class. If I hadn't taken Calculus in high school, I would've bombed this class. She's nice and willing to help, but scatterbrained in class. Also, don't buy the textbook-just purchase the online code from the textbook's website.

Comment:

Dr. Reba is not a bad professor if you can teach yourself. She gives you basics and you go from there. I might be lost without my prior calculus knowledge. Dr. Reba makes mistakes in class and doesn't communicate well, but, they hybrid part of this class was awesome. 10 minute lectures online and 2 classes a week worked well for me.

Let's be honest, calculus at Clemson is way harder than it needs to be. The class wasn't TOO bad since it was online, you get all the lectures, and the worksheets can help with tests.
