Comment:
Professor Huibregtse is the cutest man ever but is sort of too intelligent to explain Intro to Proof topics to students who have no experience with it. He speaks super formally and can be tough to understand. However, he's super adorable and gets super excited about really complex theorems and shares that excitement with the class. Would recommend.

Professor Huibregtse is a genuinely nice and very smart guy, but he is straight out of the textbook. You're better off watching Khan academy + going to tutoring to understand the topics.

He's a really nice guy and he knows his math, but he's definitely not the best teacher. He's really boring and the webworks are a pain. A lot of times it makes sense when he goes over the problem but when you do it yourself, it never works out. He'd probably teach higher level courses better.

I LOVE THIS GUY! SMART! Really knows his stuff. Extremely fair, will extend deadlines to accomadate your situations, really helpful outside of class, especially over email. Awkward, but has great intentions. Take his class!

MIT math genius teaching at small liberal arts college. Incredibly talented, unfortunately lectures don't make a lot of sense. That being said, if you use the book and do the h/w you will do fine on the exams. If you go to him for help outside of class he is actually very helpful. Sweet guy, just hard for him to relate to "regular" studen

The worst professor I've had so far at Skidmore. All he does is go through proofs in class. It would have been nice if he actually went over the material rather than just proving theorems for an hour and twenty minutes. Before taking this class with him I intended to be a math major but he has convinced me otherwise. Good guy, bad professor.

Comment:
Prof. Huibregtse he's interesting. He does run into a lot of stuff because he gets so into the problem. WebWorks are annoying. I spent at least one night a week at the tutor trying to understand the elaborate proofs he would use. He's very smart and I think having him teach an intro class like Calc 1 is a bad idea, he'd be better at higher classes.

He's a good guy and he knows his stuff, but hes terribly disorganized. He constantly runs into things in his excitement about a problem. Initially he seems like hes constantly nervous, but in time hes quirks just seem endearing. Ask lots of questions to keep him on track with the lesson.

He is awsomely funny but he is really boring. He is really clear. Though its hard to pay attention. You can do anything you want in class as long as you don't disturb him. All mid-terms are take home and will help you whenever needed. He is a genious.

He may seem a bit flustered in the beginning, but he grows on you. He'll break his chalk a lot and run into things, but he really knows what he's talking about. Ask lots of questions to keep him on track, or he'll go off on a tangent and forget where he started.

I had this professor for several math classes. If you are willing to see him outside of class he will do anything to help you understand. In class it was easy to feel as though he was talking over your head... but that's only because no one asked questions! So, ask questions and he will help! (I was in his classes in the late 80's)
