Took this professor for American Military History. No slides and very heavy lecture with the occasional map from Google images. You can tell he loves what he teaches however, and knows just about everything you can think of on the topic. I would recommend him if you're decent at note taking

I almost fell asleep every class. He is very passionate about history and you would think he lived through everything from the way he talks. This professor does not use powerpoint and is not a structured lecture. He just stands up and rambles for three hours.

All he does is lecture. Very harsh grader, everything you do you will not get above an 80. Do yourself a favor and do NOT take his class. You will fail and he is not accessible to help you strive in his class.

This professor lectures from the minute you take a seat until the minute you leave. Its so hard to pay attention because there is no visual stimulation like slides or videos. No group projects or any interaction really. He is not accessible outside of class because he does not answer his emails. Would not take him again.

Dr. Luccioni really knows his stuff. His lectures don't include any slides, so be ready to pay attention and take good notes for the entire lecture. His tests aren't too bad, and he gives you a study guide before each one. Two book reviews, really easy if you follow the instructions he gives. Best to talk to him in person if you need help.

He's a nice guy he just talks a lot. No powerpoint, no bb, no textbook. He gives a study guide that tells you what is on the exam. Do the study guides you will be fine. Never lets you out early. Two book reports that are 3-5 pages. Takes a while to answer emails so make a friend in class.

Talks for 3 hours straight with no break in between. Has sloppy handwriting and will only write a max of 10 words on the board of people/things he discussed. So in between him talking about irrelevant nonsense of historic figures personal lives, you have to figure out what really matters and should be taken down in your notes.

One of the worst classes I have ever taken. All he does is sit and ramble and laugh at himself and go on side rants about things that don't even matter. There are only 2 tests and 2 book reports, which are graded based on grammar and formatting more than the actual material. Not accessible at all because he locked himself out of his email.

He is passionate with his subject and as the others have said, take him if you're interested with history. I am not a huge fan of history but I learned a lot from Dr. Luccioni. If you really want to learn, take him. As already mentioned, three exams and two book reviews. He gives study guides for the exams. Last one was take home! Great, smart guy!

He doesn't use powerpoints or write much on the board. However, his explanations are pretty much clear-cut, and if you can write on a piece of paper then you will do fine with him. He explains things to where you understand them, but you're not inundated. He's a very nice guy, extremely smart and a little cheesy. AKA the ideal professor

I liked this professor! You will see a lot of people hating this guy cause they are probably not history people. He uses no powerpoints or anything for that matter, he just sits and talks to the class. If you are a history buff like me you will find him amazing but if you dont like history, keep looking

DO NOT TAKE. Talks from the beginning of class till the end. No power points. No pictures. No notes written on the board. No break. Nothing. Dreadful. He speaks in a monotone voice and rambles off. 3 exams - all take home. 2 book reports. Never hands back papers or exams until like the end of the semester so you don't know how you did.

Dr. Luccioni is an awesome teacher. I learned much from him, but his sense of humor is a little warped. Recommend an open mind when taking his classes.

He is so boring and he for some reason he laughs at everything he says. I would suggest not taking this class but if you do you shouldnt have a problem getting a B. Two book reports one written in class exam than two take home exams. Grades pretty hard but not impossible like everyone else is saying.

He is the worst professor I have ever come into contact with. The class is dreadful, he rambles, goes over the class period, grades book reviews on grammatical errors instead of the material. DO NOT TAKE.

He is an AWFUL teacher, I am an A/B student and all he did was ramble and give impossible tests. He is rude and has no connection with his students unless you suck up to him. He was the worst teacher I have ever had and would advise you NEVER to take him!

took him for us hist since 1865. he is terrible. he rambles forever and takes deep breathes after each statement. He looks like Eugene Levy. Also all you do is listen to a lecture and then have a written test which is impossible to pass. you have to write 2 book reviews and he is a hard grader.

He is a super nice guy & is willing to help. He does lecture a bit but will take questions and answer them well. He has a passion for history that I admire. He does grade hard but if you pay attention, you will not be surprised. I would recommend him.

He's got so much interest in the subject, which makes the class somewhat more interesting. The class is all lecture, all notes. Three tests, two book reviews, and he doesn't grade easily. It isn't hard though, as long as you pay attention, and he tells you exactly what will be on the tests. Don't buy the book.
