Thompson is an amazing professor! This class is unlike any other class I've taken in college. I was nervous at first, the whole class was actually, but Thompson created and encouraged a classroom environment that helped us all thrive! I would take him again if I had the chance.

Super nice professor, I especially recomend him for any freshmen. He gives you a lot of resources to help with any problems outside of class and he definitely cares about his students. He has quite a bit of work, but nothing thats overly complicated!

I highly recommend taking this online class. Assignments were extremely clear and you always have a chance resubmit work for a higher grade. 30 minute video conferences every other week to clarify essays. There was 25 assignments overall, 3 of which were essays. Every assignment requires peer commentary, so get to know your group. TAKE THE CLASS!!!

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!!!!! He is really nice. When he gives feedback on assignments he's really clear. Ask him any question and he will answer it!! He will re explain everything to you until you get it. If you work hard do your work on time you will definitely pass his class! Definitely take him !!!!

Super helpful teacher. Has quite a few assignments, but nothing you can't handle. He always gives you feedback for assignments and if you turn them in on time, you can resubmit for more points. Attendance is mandatory for his class, but you always have time to work on his homework in class. Overall good professor imo.

Rhetoric with Prof. T. is the best class I've taken at Stan. Prof. T. is instructive, approachable, allows us to resubmit essays. He is low key but holds us to high standards. He is modest ; offers balanced combination of lecture, group discussion. Living history "games" are hi value re: learning & fun. Class is engaging, makes us think on our feet

I absolutely love this professor! I don't see why he has bad ratings. He is so helpful on assignment and is willing to help his students out! He grades fair. You always have the chance to improve your grade with him and he gives you feedback which is helpful. The amount of effort you put in will determine your grade!. Take him! He is amazing!!

Awesome teacher! He makes you work, but he is extremely helpful if you need help. I learned so much in his class, and I really appreciated the amount of work he made me do, so that I could learn the material. I would highly recommend him, but let you know that he will make you work; however, if you need help, he will be there for you.

These people are nuts! He is one of the best professors Ive had!I took his class during the summer online and it wasnt hard at all We had 3 papers to write & weekly workshops where you could ask for help and were not madatory, they were offered face to face or online. It was super easy I received an A. Def what you should expect in college.
