Pretty interesting class. If you pay attention and do the work you will get a good grade. She allows a Cheat sheet on her tests and they are VERY helpful. Only problem is that u have to take the time to make them. So DONT be lazy! I learned a lot in this class...make sure to attend. She does random in class assignments that end up being important.

You will have to fund raise money for CAI as a grade IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT for you to actually read the books!her test are avg difficulty and she can sometimes b boring or interesting.Shes really not tht bad.She lets u bring notes btw make sure you bring all your previous tests for ur final review!says she doesent give xtra credit but she does.

She is extremely difficult. So full of her self, constantly saying "i am higher than you, i have more power. we are NOT equal" its total BS and the class should be easy but with her its my most frustrating and difficult class. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER!

Super helpful. Alot of reading outside of class but her lectures are interesting. She's real big on mutual respect. Don't talk over her or she blows a wistle at you! Her class is enjoyable, but make sure you buy AND READ the books! Take good notes, and you'll be fine.

This was one of the Easiest Class EVER!! take really good notes during class... and text. she allows one pg notes for all exams-couldn't be any easier. Project really easy. Take her.. but make sure u attend class.. she likes to have in class assignments instead of homework

It is true that her attitude can be "holier than you" at times, but that seems to really not have much to do with how she teaches the class. Tests are multiple choice and a page of notes are allowed. I found the tests easy as long as you've been paying attention and write up the page of notes. Lots of Extra credit. The research project is also easy

She does not understand technology, and most of her lectures deal with movies. she loves to brag about herself and her daughter. you teach yourself most of the time, and the tests are difficult. she changes the syllabus a million times. boring class!

If you don't mind teaching yourself, and listening to her talk on about environmental issues, then take her class. Otherwise, stay clear. Her lectures have nothing to do with her tests, so you're teaching yourself the material. She would be a lot better as a political science teacher or an environmentalist. I despised going to this class.

She is a interesting teacher and her lecture made me wanted to come to class more. she keep class cool. I pass the class with B+ coz i did homework memorized the vocab did all the exra credid and projects that was given. she is nice over all and if you take her do your work and you should never have any problems. You will be fine.

Heavy reading, and test are somewhat difficult but this is a great teacher who has a passion for what she does. A little bit of a feminist (lol) but thats only because she is a female. She respects males and females alike, so never use that as a weapon. I had a wonderful experience in her class. Study and you will be fine.

Professor Requa doesnt teach Sociology, she teaches womens rights and environmental issues, which is fine, but not what is on the test. She grades pretty hard considering that you have to teach yourself the material. I personally wouldnt take her again, but she is a very interesting person to listen to.

Not a good teacher. She is extremely unorganized. She should be teaching an Environmental class not a Soc class because thats all she talks about. She would be a great teacher if that was the case. She basically makes you teach yourself for the tests and they are HARD! A lot of people think she is interesting though!

great teacher!!! relates current events to what we learn in class. changed my way of thinking on an everyday basis. i got an A+ because i did ALL of the extra credit. turn in all assignment, do decent on tests, but must do all extra credit, and you have an A+!!!

She is a little unorganized. But is very willing to help all students pass the class. Gives alot of extra credit, Test are all litterally definitions from the book, and some from her lectures. changes syllabus alot but is helpful. Even has a guaranteed C program.. this means student is guaranteed to pass. Test are a lil hard. but great teacher

Not very organized, is intresting though. But dont suggest taking her if you need explanations of the chapters for test. SHE IS VERY BLAND on explanation of tests. You have to do everything on your own. If you can do it w/o teachers help then go for it, but if you need help DONT TAKE HER. changes syllabus alot, lectures have nothing to do w/tests
