Professor Hyland is great. She gives a midterm and a final which are straight from the textbook and PowerPoints. She gives a lot of easy assignments and offers extra credit. The current event and career project are easy so they help your grade a lot. Attendance and participation also matter a lot.

Professor Hyland is great! She gives you a paper, a project (where u film yourself explaining a current event, 3 min long)Her tests are fair, but the final is hard, so study a lot for it. She also gives xtra credit to go to from time to time. She is clear & to the point in her lectures. She gives a midterm & a final. Take her, I enjoyed her class.

Very interesting class with a super knowledgeable professor. Her lectures are very interesting and the in-class discussions make you think. Her tests are straight from the book and lectures. There are many assignments so you have a very good shot at getting a decent grade in the class.

Next semester will be the 3rd time I'm take her (different courses obviously). She's such a sweetheart and loves what she does. She's more than willing to help her students if you ask for it. No responses to her means you understand the material. Uses different resources in teaching, mainly power point. Material can be boring though

The people before me are crazy! She's an amazing professor - very clear, all you have to do is take notes on the sheets she gives out, and you'll get an A! She's also very sweet and understanding if hw is late or you miss class. Take her!

This prof lives and breathes by the point that is power! Powerpoint that is. She isnt afraid to show if she dislikes a student for no apparent reason (but the obvious, the student looks better than her) If you have this class early and need to catch some ZZzzzsss, sign up!

Prof. Hyland is a great teacher who is there to help her students learn and succeed. She explains everything clearly, helps you if you need it, and is very fair in her grading. She is not "easy" nor a "push over"...once again, fair.
