Comment:

His lectures are disorganized and scattered. He doesn't use any PowerPoints to guide us as to where he is or what he's talking about. This was one of the hardest electives I've taken. I would find a different course to take if you don't have to take this one.

Everyone seems to love this professor but he is not that great at teacher. He mumbles and gets off topic all the time. He is not clear as to what you do and do not need to know. He told me that there was no outside help I could obtain and ended up dropping the class. The study guides do not contain all info you need either. It was just hard.

I love Waters. He's really funny and his lectures provide all the information for the test and quizzes, so you kind of have to show up to know what's going on. The test and quizzes are easy though and he provides a study guide. There are online group projects weekly but nothing to intense. Overall, i would recommend him as a professor.

Waters is awesome. His lectures are interesting, he sometimes goes off on tangents but they're usually about the topic. Tests are beyond easy, if you show up to class you'll easily earn a B. He doesn't care much about attendance. There are lots of group assignments but they're very straightforward and you get several drops a semester.

His lectures can get confusing sometimes, but he provides a study guide before each test. There were weekly group online assignments (one-page papers) but he is a pretty easy grader. Gives lots of drops for quizzes and assignments.

While clearly knowledgeable, Waters is incredibly vague in his lectures. His exams are full of questions pertaining to the weekly readings which were LONG and hardly referenced in his lectures at all. I didn't feel as though the work I put into the class reflected my grade, despite working quite hard.

Waters if the most fair professor on campus. He holds his students to a high standard but it can be met if you attend class and do the readings. I had him for several classes and in each of them I learned exactly what he set out to teach us. His classes are demanding but definitely worth it. He is a very kind man who is willing to help his students

Lectures are tangents. Hasn't taught the course in multiple semesters so the info. he shares is outdated and unorganized; he always references other classes he's taught, which isn't helpful for someone who hasn't had him before. He is a tough grader and the weekly readings are lengthy and uninteresting. #HELP

Waters is entertaining and cares, but he can be all over the place at times. Sometimes hard to follow. I suggest bringing a note recorder. Assignments are easy and so are tests (4) and quizzes if you read the textbook. Also allows several drops in quizzes and online assignments. Recommended.

This class was really interesting, but I took the online option so that sometimes made assignments confusing. I think the in class portion of this class would be really great, but it is hard to read the expectations for this class through the online version.

He's kind of all over the place, but if you study the timelines and do most of the readings you will be fine for tests. Group assignments depend on if you have a good group or not. I did not, so they sucked. He's interesting and so is the material. I would take this class again. Not looking forward to the research paper, but who ever does?

Prof. Waters is by far the best teacher I have ever had.... his class is super easy and we always have fun in there. I would recommend any class that he teaches... I hope to have him in the future real soon :D

easy professor, take if you want an easy A. assingments are easy, as are tests and quizes, you almost have to try to fail them. his lectures are like story time, and you only have to read the book a few time during the course, otherwise you can jsut listen to him in lecture and you can pass easily

Best class I've taken at Eau Claire so far. Waters is hilarious. He's a bit detached but an awesome lecturer. It's like having story time instead of class. Thoroughly enjoyable and easy enough to get an A in. Highly recommended!!
