Mr. Chonich is the BEST professor at CMU! This class was difficult for me, but after talking with him, I had a better understanding and I passed this class with an A! If you come to class, and do the work you will have no problem. I would recommend taking him for this course and any other course he may teach.

Mr. Chonich is one of the BEST professors at CMU so far. He wsas the first teacher I had in my Master's program and if I had more professors like him, I would love school. He is easy going, laid back but he makes you think. He understands that you have priorities outside of class, but you are expected to attend class and do all the work. He's great

I took Dr. Chonich for MSA 620 & MSA 650. He is an excellent instructor. There is a fair amount of work but no exams. One of the best instructors in the program!!

Dr. Chonich was very much so thought-provoking, as he did not answer many questions, but made you think. Most groups did a lot of guessing, due to the lack of guidance. He was very sarcastic, which did not help. Although I scored a perfect (including participation) and did not miss one class, I received an A-, my partner received an A. Hmmmm.

Overall good professor...only uses the book for the first couple weeks, but you will need it for your case study...usually out by 8:00pm...focus is on outside research, articles and a business case study...he indicates there is a take-home final, but it is common that he retracts it the last week (so long as the case study presentations are good!)

If you want a fairly easy A - and you don't care about learning anything then take the man - no tests - no lectures you will out before 8pm and you will do a group presentation and paper. The texts are out dated and rarely used. A total wast of money if you really plan on learing something to use with you degree. Thinks he is wonderful.

Simply the best teacher at CMU!! Very approachable and works with you on your final thesis paper providing guidance where needed. Suggest you take him for MSA 600 which could be the basis of your paper for 685. Took him for 4 classes and would have taken him for more if they were on my program. Excellent professor :-)

Great Class and Professor. Dr. C is the only teacher to take! He provides you guidance and plenty of time in class to finish the projects assigned. He is also very fair in his grading. Highly recommended for all the MSA classes.

Reviewed all the research methodologies to use for the MSA 685 paper. Research Proposal took the most time, but is something you could use as a spring board to your MSA 685 Paper. Just follow his proposal guideline and you'll do fine. 1st class was cancelled, so classes ran late a few nites(9:30 & 10:00). Great Teacher who is approachable.

Doesn't usually teach this class and for good reason. He doesn't actually teach it, gives lots of work to do and expects you to write a 25-75 pg paper without explaining any of it to you. Don't take for MSA600, since it won't help you with your MSA685 project.
