I just wanted to say I took CAS 100A a few years ago and it was a pretty straight forward class. MAJOR TIP: PICK A TOPIC W/ DEPTH!(my topic RU-486) If you try to shortcut with a fluff topic, she will tear u apart. Also, shes mean in the beginning, but stick it out she gets nicer towards the end. MAKE USE OF HER OFFICE HOURS BEFORE EACH SPEECH.

i ended up with an A- in wyatts class..it was the most difficult class i EVER had, but she def taught me how to research and work extremely hard. in time the people who are willing to roll up their sleeves remain at the end of the semester. if you stick with her, and make it out ok..you will feel like theres nothing in college you cant do

Her class is the hardest class I have ever taken at PSU only due to the fact that she wants you to learn the material. She reviews every chapter in class via Power Point and even posts these on Angel. You just need to do you work, do the quizzes, read, and study your ass off. She is helpful if you let her know you care.

Pretty bad. I have heard of fun professors for this course where you can learn a lot, however she is not "fun" and I definitely didn't learn a lot. She is a GPA killer. You will only score a good grade if you go and see her outside of class before you give your speech. So basically she doesn't grade on the quality of the speech only on her feelings

Dr. Wyatt took something that I loved and sucked the fun out of it. She is a nasty, heartless woman on a HUGE power trip! She offers very little encouragement to students, and seems to take much enjoyment in feeling superior. I will never schedule another class with her. I should have withdrawn with the twenty others in the beginning of the semeste

She's not an easy teacher, but that's not because she's bad at what she does. She's 100% clear on what she expects, and lays down everything you need to do well. She expects a lot of effort on the students' part. Follow her rules and you win. Don't do what she expects, you lose.
