Very clear with what he expects out of his students. He's a bit bland and the lectures get extensive, but he's a great professor. Knows a lot about the material and will help you on whatever you need help with without being demeaning. Would take him again for any future engineering classes.

During the machining class I took, this professor just sits on his ass look at Facebook. I ask him how we should set up the machines which we were using for our projects. He said he would help in a coupe of minutes, class ended before he got up. The other guy in his office Professor Petersen is really helpful. I wish I took the class with him.

Very nice guy, but hard grader and tough curriculum with his class. Interesting lectures though so learn all you can even if you end retaking the class or dropping. Took this professor twice and the same difficulty. Just don't be late and maybe you could tough it out.

he dosent even watch us in class... i've caught him several times hiding in his back room on face book.and he is a horrible teacher in general he is not even clear i ask for help and he ignores me also im not just saying this because of the grade... the grade is on me and ill except the penalty for being late.

had him for enr 117/118 , mec 117/124. Great teacher, one of the best for engineering i have had. Show up for class, he hates bad attendance even just 1 late/missed class. But show up, do your assignments, show interest, and you are going to get a good grade with ease. Hardly uses his texts and rarely assigns homework.
