EXCELLENT PROFESSOR!! Makes sure every single person understands completely before moving on. Uses real life applications so material is easy to learn and makes sense. Lectures are online so he can spend all class doing practice problems. Get a cheat sheet of equations for every test. Always there to answer questions. Wants everyone to excel.

Very funny and nice person. Lots of real-life applications and demos. Loves his job. Tests weren't awful because you have a note sheet. Only thing: you have to make extra time for online lectures because class is spent going over a few homework problems. He'll spell out what you need for lab reports. Not my favorite but have definitely had worse.

Physics is hard in general; however, Professor Nahom relates it to real-life scenerios and tries his best to help you understand the material. He is extremely nice and caring and wants you to succeed. You will need to study and go to every class. RCSJ is extremely lucky to have him.

If you have to take physics he is a good choice, however I personally do not like his teaching style, most of the lectures are online so you have to watch them on your own time, and in class he just goes over homework. For the tests he cherry picks the hardest problems from the homework, he does give partial credit but my god his tests are hard.

If you have to take physics, I highly suggest his class. Physics is a hard class to begin with but he makes it very understandable. He puts everything into real life scenarios and genuinely cares about his students and their success. He is super nice and a very fair grader. He is definitely the best teacher ive had throughout college so far!

I took his class online and while there were videos you had to watch each week, and a test every 2 weeks, he explains everything VERY well. Also, each test is only 10 questions until the final exam and as long as you watch his videos and understand them, you'll do fine. I would definitely take a class with him again.

Lectures were all online and the homework problems were all went over during class. Lectures were long and boring but if you payed attention usually they were helpful. He definitely cares about his students and wants everyone to do well. Hes willing to answer any questions. Physics is hard for me, but it wasnt too bad with him teaching it.

A winter course, so very fast paced. Everything is laid out on the course schedule so you can keep track of it all. 2- 10 question tests a week & 1- 25 question cumulative final. lecture videos are helpful & prof nahom responds very quickly to any questions. Take notes and use them to your advantage for the tests. HW not required, but it helps.

Very awesome and easy professor. There were a few times I had questions about some of the quiz questions that I had missed and he took the time to ALWAYS respond to my emails and went into full detail on how to get the answer that was needed. He's awesome. I would highly recommend taking him!

Wonderful teacher! Love online class.. videos are like you were actually in the classroom. Gives plenty of examples to help you understand and tests are only 10 questions each, 9 chapters for the whole course.

Had him for online math so can't say much about him as a person. His lectures were very clear and straightforward. You have a week and a few days for each unit and you complete the unit with a 10 question MC exam. The exams were very easy and grading was very clear. If you already have some knowledge in Algebra you should be okay in his class.

I had this as a hybrid class (in class Monday's but most online). He has video lectures for each section/chapter. Usually have to watch 2-3 a week and most are 30 minutes to an hour. Tests are usually once a week (about 10-15 questions). Only grades tests, the final, and your lecture notebook.

We got to bring in a piece of paper for the test but usually nothing you put on it was on the test. The test were really hard and i think I failed most. The lectures were boring and I am so glad that I am finally done with physics. He also gives online lectures so you aren't finished when class is over.

I took the hybrid version and wish i just did the whole thing online. He gives very detailed but long video lectures for notes and homework so theres really no reason to go to class yet attendance is mandatory. subject matter was hard to me but thats just a personal thing. uses too many sports metaphors but overall a good teacher

Not a bad professor does a lot of video lectures but attendance is still mandatory to pass the class. lets you use a paper cheat sheet on test.

I personally took a hybrid and rather would have taken it just online. Gives his own video lectures which are amazing, but very time consuming. You can tell he wants his students to do well in his class. The quizzes are short and fairly easy, however I found his final extremely difficult.

The video lectures in Professor Nahoms class are helpful when it comes to the tests but not the final. The final was extremely hard. Make sure you attend class and take notes from online bc it is counted as a grade. He doesn't offer any extra credit. You can tell he really cares about his students and their success but you have to put the work in.

This class was very straight forward so you didn't even really need to contact the teacher. You had video lecture notes and a 10 question quiz about every 10 days. Total of 9 quizzes including the 25 question final. Professor was quick to answer emails and very nice. I recommend and I would take again. Very clear grading and an organized course.
