She is a very nice lady who genuinely cares about her students. I had her for Research Methods and Statistics and honestly, her classes are hard. But for a Psych major who wants to go into research, you NEED these classes with a prof. like her. She knows her stuff and knows how to teach it. Exams are difficult, & terminology based. Learned a lot!

She isn't the clearest or most organized professor, but if you can follow the problems she does in class (as well as lab, where you literally only do problems) as well as have a basic understanding of the concepts, you can get an A. I got an A+ and studied maybe 6 hours all semester. Barely used book. Definitely recommended

Take somebody else. She goes through the slides quickly and rushes and doesn't care if she misses material that will be on the test. If you can read the book thoroughly and get an A in the lab you might have a chance of passing. I suggest taking someone else.

She is very sweet and nice, but I learned absolutely nothing from her. Our TA had to re-lecture all of her classes. Her examples are very difficult to follow, and exams had no curves and were extremely difficult. Many people including myself have to re-take the course.

She was one of the most boring teachers I've had at Mason. I know some people in my class did well and others didn't at all, but the main complaint across the board was that she didn't test what the homework was on. She doesn't explain concepts well and her handwriting is very hard to read. I do not recommend taking this class.

Dr. Wanschura is certainly a fair & decent professor as she grades easy & curves the exams. She is not a stickler for math & gives you credit for following the concepts even if you have a bad value so that's cool. Lectures unfortunately were TERRIBLE & exams tested more CONCEPT then USE. Read the book & understand concepts cold and you'll be ok.

She was very nice and went over examples clearly but once she got going she wouldn't pause for questions. The tests were hard but she curves so don't get discouraged. Would give the math but didn't really go into the concepts so it got confusing at times, honestly I didn't pay attention and just read the textbook thoroughly and got an A.

She is so sweet and nice, but the most BORING professor I've had in a while. I know research methods isn't suppose to be a blast, but she could spice things up A LITTLE. Attend classes, she has class activities that will impact your grade, and tests are moderately difficult. Make sure you know the material thoroughly.

Her in-class notes are nearly incomprehensible, but thankfully she posts them all online to study. Stick to those, do the homework and be sure not to miss too many in-class activities.

She is so disorganized and you can never tell what she's saying. But she is really nice, she's always willing to help and is very respectful. Do the class activities, complete all your assignments, study and take notes and you'll be fine.

She was a good teacher who really knew the material and if you attend class and take the notes you should be prepared for the tests. The class before tests she goes over what kind of multiple choice questions there will be and examples of the problems given. With some work anyone should be able to do well.

she's a great teacher, but is very hard to follow. she started doing powerpoints this semester, which helps some. when she's writing out examples though prepare to write a lot and bring a lot of paper, she is very disorganized when writing things out on the board. my advice is don't ever miss class anyways because this subject is hard.

Her exams are fair and come from her lectures. She always gives detailed answers to the students' questions and she's knows the material very well. I'm not sure why people complain the difficulty; she gives plenty of extra credit and she curves. You should get an A if you try

Material is tricky if you don't pay attention. If you take good notes, the class is easy. Lab helped. You really have to be dedicated to learning the material. She's a nice lady and helps you do well. Getting an A is not difficult.

Terrible Professor. She is very unorganized in general and her lectures are no different. She rambles on and on with seemingly no point. Her test do not cover the material taught in class. Unless you are really in to research avoid at all costs.

Her exams are very difficult, a lot of short answer questions. You have to memorize everything before a test to do well. Just study like crazy and you'll pass. She's nice professor, not my favorite but she seems to know what she teaches.

I really enjoyed her class. I'm not a big math person, but she is good about explaining the concepts step by step. You need to go to class in order to understand the material and I would suggest reading the book before the tests because that will also explain the problems step by step.

She covers an overwhelming amount of information, but passing is certainly tangible. She is a nice and helpful, just make sure you ask questions if you're confused. Requires quite a bit of studying before tests and paying attention in lecture is crucial. Not going to lie, the multiple-choice on her exam is tricky...really have to know the concepts.

very nice lady, but a little confusing. she's very old school. we had to study from the book, her lectures on Bb, and her lecture in class, whatever she wrote on the board, sometimes different concepts. overall, not bad.
