Cef is my favorite professor at Lafayette. Brilliant dude who facilitates great discussion but isn't too strict and doesn't sweat the small stuff. Super laid back and funny, and you learn a ton if you stay on top of the reading, which is typically not too intense. Highly recommend.

Prof Cefalu is by far my favorite prof at Lafayette. He's also probably one of the smartest people I've ever met. He's dedicated his life to English literature and it shows. He makes you interested in things you never thought you would be. Also very attractive. Highly highly recommend

He's an awesome Professor. His class mostly consists of discussions and he's really open to whatever someone has to say. There isn't much work besides papers and he's very helpful when it comes to papers. I definitely recommend his class.

was not very into metaphysical poetry but took the class because he was teaching it and knew it was going to be good just because of him. Subject material is not easy, but he's not too tough of a grader and is a really interesting and nice guy, I agree with previous comments that he is probably one of the best professors at lafayette

If you have a sense of humor and you talk alot in class, even if you don't make sense half of the time as long as you speak your mind and make your opinions clear Cefalu will like you. You have to understand his sarcastic humor though. One of my favs.

He's funny and sarcastic. He challenges you to argue the unpopular sides and expects a lot of the class. Class discussions are interesting and you learn a lot about the topic at hand. Nice guy.
