I am taking Chemistry with Prof Mullen for the summer 2009 class. Your grade is based on Homework/lab comp books, midterm and final. The homework is very time consuming. Make sure you keep up with it every week and make it to class, take notes. I made an A on the midterm. He is a good teacher. You just have to do your part and study!!

Really enjoyed the class. Prof. Mullen is hard, but pay attn, take notes, and ask questions. Homework is a large workload-- so make sure you set time aside!

Be prepared for loads of work. he gives out hundreds of homework problems that must be completed and turned in at the end of the semester. Not very clear on material he teaches and moves fast. Grade based on midterm, final, notebook grade. Honestly, would never take him again and would never reccommend him to anyone

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!! His work load is unreal, the class is extremly hard. He is very picky lateness, you can not be 1 min late or he takes off on your grade. He do not explain the material very well

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!! This class is by far the hardest class that I have ever taken. The test were extremely hard and the study guides were useless. Only take this class is you "LOVE CHEMISTRY" and want a job in a chemistry lab.

Great teacher! I learned not only chemistry, but history, geography and sociology. His examples in class make it easy and fun. I highly recomend professor Mullen if you want no only to pass, but to learn.

I never took chemistry before and I think Prof Mullen was hard but fair. If you do not take good lecture notes and study before class and lab you will not do well.. keep up with notebook.. it makes a difference in your grade.. be a student! go to class and ask all the right questions. I would take him again. Good Teacher!!!

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!!!!!! He is not helpful at all. Most of his work, is busy work that do not help you in the class and he put things on the test that you did not learn in the class. His teaching style is very confusing.

I have 1.5 years left till I will teach High School Biology. This teacher is very knowledgeable, but extremely unwilling to help, and very vague on test preparations. I do not reccommend anyone taking him. Insane amounts of busy work. One midterm, one lab practical, and one final, in addidion to a ton of homework. Don't bother asking for help!

I took mullins for CHM 1020 A simple class huh, NOPE! I had a B on the midterm yet made a D on my final grade. Crazy or what. I was missing half of 1 assignment of my notebook and got a 70% INC.

he's not so bad. the people that don't take college serious and think this is still highschool won't like him and yes he is very vague w/ instructions but just show him that you're making an effort and study and you'll do fine. plus, there's always someone in the class that can help you if you need it.

He's really not as bad as everyone makes it seem. He can be really vague sometimes. But he makes you work for your grade. I got an A in the class, but I worked for it. The labs are kinda fun, though he can be vague in his instructions. If you study and do all the required work, you should be alright. It can't always be easy folks!

He does not know how to teach. I was not going for a masters in Biology, but he was sure teaching that way. I think it was terrible when he based your grade on 2 tests, that's just down right lazy.
