Comment:

He's a nice guy but tends to talk a lot and use up our lab time talking at length. Plus, he's really smart so sometimes when you go to him with a problem he can make you feel stupid for not intuitively being able to identify rocks, he is pretty helpful and good at explanations, though.

Not a bad guy at all. Really cares and is really interested in passing on all he can to you. Although he almost seems to try to say too much at once, making him a tiny bit of a scatter brain. Overall good guy and good class

Comment:

This class should have a textbook, but the problem is - one does not exist. I had a hard time with this class, but something to reference would have helped a lot. This class didn't go as I had hoped but it wasn't all Peter's fault. He is a great prof, funny as heck, and he is very easy to talk to and will do whatever it takes to help you.

Review also reflects ERTH1080, 1090, 2203, 2000, 3000. I strongly disagree with the other reviews. Peter cannot communicate clearly on paper or verbally. His marking seems to be mainly arbitrary. Although he can be helpful, his general approach towards education has little effect on most students. Inconsistent, unclear, disorganized. Nice guy

I had Peter for other Geo courses and he was great. I didn't like him as much in Paleo as I did in the other courses, but I still love how he puts a smile on every situation, and helps and accomodates students. Thanks Peter!

Peter is such a nice guy! and he's so helpful! He really tries to help you when you need it and he's so patient. Really liked him...and he looks like my dad!
