He doesn't grade any of the assignments so the only grades you see are the ones that blackboard. The tests are extremely hard and account for 40% of your overall grade. The class is strictly presentations so he doesn't teach any material. I would advise against taking this guy.

Does not grade papers in time to be useful. Gives no feedback besides a grade. Only take this instructor if absolutely necessary. Be prepared to teach yourself the material as the instructor will do nothing to further your learning. Term paper and presentations required. Relatively easy assignments. But seriously, do not expect any feedback.

Does not actually "teach" anything. Pretty much, respond to a few discussion board posts, take some quizzes, write a paper, do a peer review. Absolutely no instruction from the professor except for telling the student to "read the book". Also, teacher failed to grade nearly every assignment until two days before grades were due.

This course is very informative and helpful when it comes to learning the fundamentals of information security. If you turn your work in on time and participate you're sure to pass with a high grade! Great course!

Worst online class I have taken at ECU in 2.5 years. Lunsford was totally disengaged, yet assigned crazy amounts of work - 2 presentations with audio/video, term paper with proof of submission to online publication, poorly phrased quizzes designed to mislead. An awful experience - I truly hope I don't have him or another like him again.

This class is super easy. There are weekly quizzes that are easy and everyone should get 100's. Also there is a midterm and a final. They are just terms and really easy as well. There are 5 labs due throughout the semester and they take time but if you don't wait until last minute you will do fine. Easy class and Lunsford is really cool too.

Same old Lunsford: read the book, take chapter quizzes, write a paper, take the final. You pretty much pay 500 to 600 bucks to read a book, unfortunately hes the only one that teaches this class. The book was very good, just would of been better if put more effort into the class.

(For ICTN2000) Mostly an online class. Lecture attendance is optional. One online open-book quiz for each chapter; questions are straight from the book. Only attended two lectures, so I can't say what kind of teacher he is. Began recording lectures on Centra for those that want to listen. Easy to pass.

Dr. Lunsford is soooo easy!! All quizzes you get two weeks to accomplish and are open book on blackboard and all those questions are on the final and midterm. So if you just study those questions you shud at least get a B. I never came to class and will get an A. The only downfall is he will put you to sleep cuz he is boring but easy teacher.

This guy sucks, all he cares about is his PhD and his tenure. He offers no help to students, and is very selfish. He makes a lecture last longer than it should. One day he said "oh i didnt mean to finish this early", and kept talkin just to take up time. His peer hate him, and his students dispise him. First day class has 50, second day 10 people

Good Professor. Knows his stuff. Quite a bit of work in the class, (online presentations, online quizzes, research paper, online chat, yahoo group discussions), but you have plenty of warning when assignments are due and he grades fairly. NO FINAL EXAM! Would recommend!
