Amazing professor. Dr. Kendall is completely one of a kind, and such an interesting man. Loved his class but if you don't read the book or pay attention you will not do well. He is very understanding and will help you if you just ask, he is a very lovely person

Dr.Kendall will be one of the most interesting professors you will ever have. Hes very kind and he knows his history. He stands in front of class to give the lecture without looking at any notes. I recommend you don't miss class or be late because he does give quizzes on Wednesdays at the beginning of class. Read a lot. REVIEW YOUR NOTES. Easy A

Dr. Kendall is one of a kind. Always well dressed and with so much happiness. I love his lectures and his stories. One time he sang a song for the whole class to better understand his lecture. He will shake the whole class' hands and learn your name. He loves teaching history mostly because he has lived most of what he teaches.

Dr. Kendall is one of the best professors at UTB. He makes history interesting and definitely knows the subject well. However, he is not like other UTB professors, so do not take his class if you are not willing to put in the work or the time. There are daily quizzes.Still, I would recommend his class to anyone who is truly interested in learning.

Mr. Kendall is an amazing professor. He is old, funny and smart. He knows what he is talking about. He tries to help you outside class, if you show interest he'll help. His class is hard, you have to read a lot, but he cares for you. You'll learn history, and you'll love Mr. Kendall !! If you read; quizzes will be easy !!

You really have to read!! He is a very interesting and funny professor..really know what he is talking about, gives a little bit of extra credit...lectures everyday and you have quizzes everyday. Would I recommend him? Sure, but you have to work you butt off. Failed every test!! But, quizzes are easy!!

Dr. Kendall is one of the smartest professors in UTB. He is extremely smart, somewhat funny, and definitely interesting. He has literally been all around history and it is really neat to have a Professor that knows what he is talking about. Quizzes every day, a lot of reading, interesting lectures - recommend it if you like history!

So I just got this professor and I was not prepared for the way he teaches. There is no way possible you can make an A! It's super hard, he's super old and he only lectures the whole class period. Great teacher, interesting class, the guy is 74!!! He pretty much lived through all the history in 1302. He met like every key figure in the textbook. Like I said great prof, but the class is difficult, you never now what to study, questions are very random.

I hate to say it but the truth is, you want to fail? You get this professor. No joke. Yes the class is fun and interesting, and there are tutorial sessions. But his chapter tests are soooo random. You never know WHAT to study!
