Took this class on-line. Prof. Kumar was more of a facilitator than a teacher. She did not participate in class discussions. Materials provided were from other sources. She was an easy grader but it often took awhile to get feedback, and feedback provided was limited.

This class does a lot of group work. If you are assigned a bad group, she is very understanding and will intervene. I got more out of this class than I thought I would thanks to her.

All assignments were done as group work, but thankfully were not graded strictly as such. She is very fair if you have a bad group and can see that you attend class, work hard, and understand the material. I would take her again. I received an A with a very bad group.

I thoroughly enjoyed going to her class and have to say that I learned the most useful information about teaching in her class. Lectures were very interesting and informative. Her assignments were also easy if you put in the time. Definitely reccomend her, everyone in my class was sad to leave!

Should not teach an online course. My group followed the rubric and others did not and got the same grade. I thought we were supposed to adapt curriculum but apparently not! Did not post assignments in a timely manner.

She gives out irrelevant assignments, and doesn't give much useful information at all. I took another class similar to hers that was suppose to be a lead in to hers and I learned more in that class than I did in hers. Not terrible, but not great, avoid if possible.

Well, I must say the topics were good and I learned a lot. But if you like clarification on assignment criteria she is not very helpful at all. She seemed to enjoy tricking our class. She hardly ever used Bb even though she made a big deal about it.

Excellent prof, very attuned to students; honors various learning styles. Good sense of humor. You will work hard & learn a lot. It won't hurt a bit!
