I read in other reviews on what others say about him favoring actors above anyone else. I thought "Yeah right" it literally just happened as I am typing this review. Not cool at all. He is very vague with his quiz's expects you to read a full length play in 2 days, but does not realize how time consuming the program that all of his students are in.

Has good intentions, but a tad-bit old fashioned. His grading is really funky (no rubric), but he does curve scores at the end. He encourages you to have a well thought out opinion. It pays to show up to class. Do all the readings you are assigned.

This professor was unorganized and unreliable when it came to our grades. He would say one week that he wants a specific format for a paper/assignment, and the next he'll tell us that what we turned in is wrong. You worry about your grade a lot, because he doesn't seem satisfied. He's polite in every other aspect but isn't clear about what he wants

Dr. Schnieder was an amazing teacher! He really cares about the material and his students. Be prepared to have several group projects and defend any opinions you have. If you do the reading the quizzes are super easy. Attendance is graded and it pays to show up to class. Lecture usually involves a group presenting , debate, or watching clips.

I think Dr. Schneider means well, I really do. But, with a combination of the confusing readings and the general bizarreness of the class, this class is just not a good class. He's very eccentric and you'll either love the class or hate the class. We do a TON of reading and you are randomly picked and put into groups for projects. Good luck.

Dr. Bob is really passionate about what he does, which makes it really interesting to listen to him. The only thing that I didn't like is that he doesn't always directly answer questions. Just keep prying and ask him to try to answer your question without using a quote. That usually worked.

This professor is very understanding. If you go to him with questions and concerns they will be resolved by the time you walk. Make sure your taking note, going to class, following the weekly syllabus, and paying attention. Give respect in order to receive it. He pretty funny also. Use his office hours to make sure your on the right track.

I personally enjoyed him. He's a very interesting and intelligent man. If you're easily offended, don't take his class because he will definitely call you out. His expects a lot but he curves at the end. I thought Professor Schneider was hilarious and very easy to listen to.

Schneider was awesome, and a really funny guy, too. He loves theatre and loves teaching it. I thought the quizzes were fine, and I didn't attend the plays or read the chapters. The group project was poorly explained, but if you do well on that or your script, he'll exempt you from the final like I had done for me. His classes are pretty fun.

Schneider was actually a pretty interesting professor for a once a week, three hour night class. He really did want students to care about the theatre. However, the group project was poorly managed and he wasn't always the best about getting back to students.

Theater major class. The class was okay. Sometimes interesting, usually not. Watched videos most days. Mandatory 8AM class. The 4 group projects were annoying (each worth 12% of your grade). Attendance is not mandatory if you can get someone to sign you in. 1-2 chapters of reading due each class twice a week. He's kinda crazy, but can be funny.

This class was difficult. If you get from exempt from the final from the 3page play and group work then you'll be fine. When you pick a group make sure they actually show up for class and do work!! I was stuck in a bogus group. Also, the professor is weird.

Don't take this class! You will think going into it that it's just theater so its a blow off class except its not. The guy expects you to seem like your a theater major and your an expert on it, the quizzes are difficult and there is a lot to do in this class definitely not a blow off class and not a class you could get an A in.

Professor schnieder is amaszing. he is an interesting person and I never had a dull moment in his class. Though attendance is not mandatory, go, because you will miss a lot if you don't go or leave early. He teaches through readings and going to plays. The lectures are sometimes interesting or can be pointless(not often, but depends on topic)

I love this man!!! He is very funny and brings a lot of fun to the class. His tests are pretty difficult, but the playwriting was easy. The group work is pretty shi**y, but do-able. He is very funny and keeps the students very interested!

If you take the 203 class, and are expecting it to be a blow off, you'll be dead wrong. There are plays to be read, and plays to see. if you study, then the tests and quizzes will be easy. especially if you can convince him to have partner quizzes.

This is not just a blow off class, so do not take it if you are looking for one. He expects you to know your stuff about theater. I feel like he did expect the students to know an excess about theater prior to the class.

He is a very interesting teacher. The class is very long, 2 hours and 40 minutes. He has high expectations of his students in their knowledge of theater. Don't take this class just as a blow-off because you will soon find out it is not one.

He's really weird, and most of the time, it feels like he's just rambling. I don't feel like I've learned anything usefull in his class, but he isn't extremely difficult. You just have to do the required reading.
