Ruben adequately delivers the concepts in lecture but refuses to deliver adequate clarity on assignment write-ups. Is have two problems. One - They often don't give enough details on the required components. Two - They often have components that seem to be easy to interpret but are then you lose marks cause the assignment says one but want another.

Comment:

Ruben provided a great introduction to programming. His lectures, despite being filled with tangents, include all material needed to pass the course. I find his method of teaching very enjoyable, and I would recommend asking questions during lecture and tutorial.

Ruben loves to hear himself talk. It's brutal. He goes on and on about the most boring thing. He is not clear about how you will be marked and even unclear which assignment is due when. He's lazy, confusing and doesn't care about his students. Avoid if you can. I hope he gets fired.

Great instructor. He's always there when you need help and makes what could easily be a very dry course, very interesting. He always provides insight and trys his best to meet your needs as a student.
