Very funny and personable once you get used to him. Very intimidating at first. The class is easy, just do the work and you'll pass. A lot of reading and busy work, but he ties it in well with good class discussions. The class is always interesting, as long as you provide to the discussion.

Make sure you study the material. Relatively easy class. Dr. Parkansky has expectations that a lot of fresh highschool grads don't understand. If you realize this, it's a pretty simple class. He is a little hard to follow sometimes, but it doesn't interfere with the class. All in all, he's very interesting and has a lot of good info.

This was a pretty tough class because theres no text book. He puts notes on the over head but it seemed like the tests were never what was in my notes. there multiple choice 30 some ?'s a test. no other work except for one proj. go to class i think that helped my grade and DON'T fall asleep. he'll ask you to leave haha
