I thought at first her class would be good since she seemed to be nice. I worked VERY hard in her class and got a bad grade.I would take her advise and she would still give me a bad grade. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!

I took this as an online class. I had a hard time getting a hold of her, and she was not helpful with posting things online when asked. She didn't follow through with much that she said she would do. She also grades pretty hard. I don't recommend her.

She is awesome! I love her class, she is very helpful and easy to talk to. She's also very funny which helps keep my interest. I would definately recommend taking a class of hers if you can!

Dr. Wooden tries to be a good teacher but her curriculum is way too difficult for the review class I took. It got to the point to where over half the class just stopped coming.

I absolutely loved her class. I enjoyed literature before taking the class, but I learned to get so much more out of it after her class. She is very intelligent and interesting to listen to. She is also interested in hearing students' insights into pieces. Even if you don't like literature, give her class a try. A's aren't easy, but possible.

I love Dr. Wooden's classes! I have taken 3, and they are great. It is not easy to get an A, but it is possible. I like British Literature better now. She is very helpful in conferences and via email.

I really like Dr. Wooden. She's super smart, and she wants you to do well. Her class takes a lot of work, but if you participate in class and speak to her about any questions, you'll gain a lot from this course. If, however, you're looking to only fulfill core, I would personally take an easier course.

I recommend her to any english majors, she's different from the typical eng professors(old, close-minded, stiff). Seems genuinely interested in what students want to learn, and makes class intriguing. One of the best eng prof at USI!
